I talked to the dealership. I’m taking it in tomorrow so they can take pictures and submit the claim. They said they’ve never seen it before and she didn’t seem too hopeful warranty would cover it. But clearly it’s happened to people. So we shall see.

Gauges have been all digital fed for almost 30 years. Nothing is mechanical, there is no hard connection to any sensor or gauge.
The needles you see moving are little stepper motors.
There is an entire sub section of mechanics who repair them. Some can even repair the screens.

Well still no ending to this. The dealer is still trying to figure out this issue on his old truck. He visited today.
He is a guy who went off the olm vs doing 5/6k oil changes. So maybe a oil passage is partially blocked somewhere.

No it doesn’t matter. And it’s easier to drop the non air ride. Several people complained about ride quality issues when dropping their air ride trucks

And It’s the throttle lag. Get a pedal commander. I can chirp my tires just pulling outa my driveway depending on the setting.
And stock these trucks run a 14sec. It’s the laggy throttle making it seem like it’s not peppy
But be prepared to take a mpg hit if you keep it at the external high...

Yeah the older dodge interiors were horrendous. So glad they got their act together.
But we added a new turbo outback. Little thing moves pretty damn good, still slower than the truck though. But also gets 30mpg
