So which is it, money is the driving factor, and my new invoice price should get mine built sooner. Or, invoice price doesn't matter, just the options in it? There is no "holding places" if price is the driving factor. A bunch of other people have made changes as well, and it had no effect on...
Yep. 1 for diesel and 1 for DEF. The are heavy and look good. My wife immediately said "I'm guessing you wanted those for when I'm filling it up, so I don't put the wrong thing in." Umm yep hunny.
Still no estimated build date for me. There is basically a 0% chance I ever buy another Stellantis product. They claim "chip shortage" is the reason mine isn't built. ****ing ********.
Granger Ford in Iowa is offering 3% below invoice on F150 and 2% below invoice on Super Duty's. I am contemplating ordering a Platnium from them and end this RAM ********.
There are going to be some many angry people if this is what's going to happen. Order in May, RAM refuses to build it, then try to charge more in Jan. Mean while someone who ordered in Nov doesn't take a price hit because theirs was built in 3 weeks.
I'm jealous you guys even got a date. MD hadn't been able to tell me anything except that they are in contact with their rep. It's insane. I truly believe that RAM has no intention of building my truck, just like they did with all of those Canadian orders.
Every option is being built. There isn't 1 thing hold stuff up. Seems like Ford is atleast telling people what not to order to make it go faster.
On that note, I'm reaching out to a Ford dealer and getting quotes on an F150 and F250 Platinum's.
Hold back is money the dealer receives for selling the vehicle. Basically a way to raise invoice, but the dealer is making more than before. How many times have you been car shopping and had the sales guy show you the invoice, and say "I'll sell it to you at only $500 above this, we are making...
Well those people did order when production was scheduled to start in July. That's my justification. Also, on my phone and under a time crunch to beat Eighty bringing a real answer.
