if im running 70 in my 3.92 gears at 2000 rpm, this means i'm running more in the power band and I'm able to maintain that speed better because the engine is producing more horsepower and torque. At 70 mph in the 3.21 gears at 1500 rpm you are less in the power band getting better fuel mileage...
Unfortunate for you, but all brands have lemons. My 19 Ram laramie black edition is by far the nicest truck I've had, coming from a 14 f150 king ranch, 16 gmc sierra slt all terrain, 17 Toyota Tundra Crew Max and a 17 Ram laramie, and numerous others.

Just a curious question about people needing 8 foot beds, I bought a brand new 12 ft tandem axle trailer for $2000 a couple years ago, would this work for you? Nothing but groceries goes in the bed of my truck, if I need to haul lumber, furniture, appliances, etc. , I just hook up the trailer.
