Loving this data @triple_B and @Eighty
Probably going to be taking these to my dealer to at least see if they can pester their ram rep. (Not that I have been waiting too long)
Thought we shot down that 4x2 theory... there is no indication that 4x2 is a holdup based off the numbers from Triple_B's spreadsheet.
I'm sure Eighty can pull up plenty of build sheets and window stickers to disprove whoever fed you that line.
and you are Canadian, you can still call your dealer.
squeaky wheel gets the grease. (the more you ask the more it will bother the dealer until they start reaching up to get you answers)
Infotainment is a ripoff imo. All they do is refurbish from wrecked vehicles and upcharge. (Personal experience pricing the center screen on a pacifica through them $2000, parted it out via local scrap yards for $1200.
they will very likely still receive the truck, ram wouldn't just destroy a truck/delete a vin because someone cancels wanting the truck. there will always be someone that wants a flashy truck that has been ordered.
dealer will likely just increase the price to offset fines (if any)
I know from ram videos, the E locker turns off (once activated) at 25mph for 2wd and 4wd low, 40mph for 4wd high, and stays on for the full range of speed for the TRX.
Even those are ever so slightly different, the nonskid portion in the picture you provided from their site doesn't cover the whole "tube" like other that was just picked up.
