The TFL article says GMET6 is already in production as of 11/22, and it's also listed on Stellantis' own media site now so that is new news.
Now we wait to get official specs and wait again for it to actually show up in vehicles.
Yep. They're labeled with handy hieroglyphics for 'easy' identification 😆
The USB under the armrest cover towards the back also doesn't pass data and isn't too far away from where he's plugging in now, so that might work for you too
Data blocker like Richard said
Or buy a 'charge only' USB cable (won't pass data)
Or make him use the other USB port in the back (only one of them passes data)
Or plug his phone into the center console charge port under the armrest (assuming you have the console and not the center seat up...
^^ what they said. The DRL is the headlights running at 50%. Turn that off in the Uconnect settings.
If you have a Canadian truck however, there is no DRL setting to turn off (DRL is mandatory by law) so you'd need AlfaOBD or a Tazer to turn it off.
This forum is primarily for 1500s (although all are welcome). You'll probably get more replies on the sister forum specifically for HD trucks- https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php
Find instructions online for your brand/model opener + Homelink. The instructions from Ram may not necessarily work for your brand. Mine was pretty easy, but I don't remember the steps off the top of my head (Genie).

I believe you can buckle the seatbelt behind you. Otherwise, no it can't be overridden. Thank the idiots who have run themselves over thinking the vehicle was in park when it wasn't.
These articles make it sound worse than it actually is (and it's still going to suck, especially if you want anything with a V8). The mandated average will be going up , but not to 55 by '26. It increases incrementally from '23 to '26 with the '26 fleet average being 40 MPG (per window sticker...
That shouldn't matter. Was thinking interior or cargo lights. Something that comes on when the door is opened. LED bulbs can throw off RF that interferes with the fob reception.
The key word in both those articles is NEW. They are only proposing to ban NEW sales (and that can change as the deadline gets nearer and it becomes clear that it won't work) Nobody has proposed banning ALL ICE vehicles...yet. If it does come to pass in 2030/35 there will still be plenty of used...
Because we are all one big happy Stellantis family. They're not just going to replace V8s in one platform. The goal is to eliminate V8s all together. Our new French overlords will certainly accelerate that process. Maybe '23 you will only be able to get the ET Hemi in a Ram. At one point it was...
