A little different in our household....I'm here because it's my wife's Rebel on order and she won't stop asking me how much longer until she gets her damn truck. :ROFLMAO: And I was told I can't do anything until she gets her truck. So when the green 392 Jeeps came out, I immediately ordered her...

This is not true. The inbound freight is considered in the cost of the vehicle. The destination charge is the cost to go from the plant to the dealer. It is one cost regardless of location so us in Michigan lose out, but those in Washington win.

Sounds like they gave you EP pricing. My Rebel MSRP was 69.7k and my EP is $62.2k.

There are 21s running down the line. While those are finishing the 48 hours down the line, the 22s have started at the beginning. There more than likely isn't any downtime between the two (or very little). This is not a major model year change. For the most part, the assembly line workers...

When I ordered my Jeep, there was a thread just like this for Jeeps. Based on what I saw there, it seems like the "ship date" is actually the day it comes off the assembly line. Then they need to arrange transportation, blah blah blah. Just what I saw then so take it for what it's worth.

Do we have any confirmations of 22's rolling out yet from the build sheets?

The only potential issue is if they are doing what Ford did and just build them without chips and then they sit in a parking lot.

Breaking news: Good news to start the weekend. In 15 days, SHAP will be running 7 days a week for 90 days. They just issued a critical state at the plant.

Bad news....ZF just went on strike yesterday. Workers for an auto parts supplier in Marysville went on strike on Thursday morning after the company reneged on a neutrality agreement to recognize union representation, according to the United Auto Workers. There are 340 workers striking, UAW...

Member of the 15 minute club here too! Let me shoot my buddy a message who works the line. Last I talked to him, no news, but it's been a couple weeks. I'll update if I hear back (he works morning shift).

It is 100% an inventory issue. I work for an electronics supplier for the OEMs (including DT). The inventory is so low right now that some of our suppliers are increasing our costs by 80%+. We are constantly battling with our suppliers for inventory vs the other suppliers. Same thing the OEMs...

True, but that would be dealer margin, not FCA. Those trucks are only 75-90k MSRP. I agree that the limited would have higher profit margin. FCA dumped a ton of money into the TRX and are not selling nearly as many as standard Rams. The standard rams have all their investments spread across...

It takes 9 hours to run down the line (but I'm guessing this is post paint).
