- Weak AC cooling has a TSB out which fixes the issue.
- The vibrating mirror will be replaced by the dealer if done within your factory warranty period.
Both were done on one of our 2019 Rams and both issues were resolved.
I’ve seen it on a neighbors truck…it too was a Ram and had the OAT factory antifreeze. He utilized a non-OAT antifreeze which when mixing the two will cause a gelatinous appearance which requires the system to be drained, flushed and refilled with OAT coolant.
And yes, this causes overheating...
Perhaps you might want to read the following as heated seats have an SAE standard thus one could utilize the info to “enlighten” their local Ram dealer (it appears 105F could be the upper limit):

Personally, I can’t stand them because I’m old and now shorter than I was 40 years ago. I need a step stool and helping hand from the inside of the cab just to get up into my son’s Raptor.
Put big a$$ tires on a 5th Gen Ram and I’d need a 6’ step ladder to get in and a parachute to una$$...
One of our engineers at work who owns a 2019 5th Gen stated it is the angle of the windshield on the 5th Gen that makes it more prone to chips/cracks. He said instead of debris glancing off the windshield like previous Gens, it is more of a direct hit because the 5th Gen has a more vertical...
We've had eighteen Rams (1500, 2500 and one 3500) in the family since 1994 with no less than three in the driveway at any given time and have never had one leak at the 3rd brake light or the shark fin antenna.
With that said, we did have one 2020 Lone Star that leaked but it wasn't Ram's...
I tried it once...it changed the sound of my engine...I had to immediately change it and have never purchased it since then.
The normal "Cackle, cackle, cackle, cackle" sound of my diesel disappeared and then it started making a sound like "Cackle, eh? Cackle, eh? Cackle, eh? Cackle, eh?" ;)...
It makes one wonder what the difference is between the 2021 and 2022 Ecodiesel…different programming introduced by FCA/Stellantis? More barriers to installing a tune? Some way that UConnect 5 notifies FCA that the system has been tampered?
Agree. I’ve used it as well for my first two oil changes but now can no longer get it at any of the Walmart's within 100 miles of me...or online. So, I resorted to ordering Pennzoil from Amazon at a higher price and hope Walmart stocks it again.
Not from what I can determine based upon FCA requirements. The "approved" oils that I can get which meet the MS-12991 and API SN spec are as follows (there are others, but these are what I can readily obtain):
Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40...
The clear coat technology gets better with every model year and I think they've perfected it with yours...I can hardly see it.
You're correct, I do love the color combo! Should make running through the state trooper speed traps a breeze!
These are the twelve gauges I monitor and they show boost, when in regen, number of regens, DEF urea percent so you know if your urea is going bad, etc.
My Big Horn seats get very hot especially when you remote start it and let it sit for a few for the engine to warm up.
Last night it was 32 degrees where and we were going to the kid's house for dinner. She asked me if I had remote started the truck and I stated yes. She asked me to go out...
