As much as I’d want to give my dealer a shot at selling me a service contract, they don’t deal in the Mopar contracts but use a third party. The few times I’ve purchased service contracts have all been from the manufacturer and not third party.

Have you had any issues with the cover getting out of alignment and/or getting stuck and not being able to move it? I think I'm going to go ahead and try it because I really like the convenience of the retractable tonneau. Also considering the motorized one.

Will that solve the issue he mentions? I'm not really concerned about what he's saying because the vast majority of reviews, videos and forum posts are positive about this cover. The other thing is it comes with a lifetime warranty.
