Not sure what the facia lip is. I put about 1/4 to a 1/3 of the tape underneath and let the remainder lay on top of the hood where the clips install. Without that protective covering, the clips can scratch the paint. Hope this helps.
But for KcRay, many of us would be driving around in luke warm trucks while haggling with dealers and FCA. Even if FCA never acknowledges, much less comes up with a remedy for, our underperforming ACs, I can deal with a clamped off hose for four - five months out of the year. I’ll unclamped it...
I like it too. There’s a before and after dyno pull video on here where the dyno showed significant increase in HP. I run my truck in Performance mode all the time. Just like the extra umpft. :)
I agree that the subwoofer could be dampened a bit. I have the base on the equalizer set at only + 1 or + 2, and the base is still strong and I get a noisy rattling or vibration on certain songs. It could be the rear window rattling as some have reported. I might try your trick to see if it...

Then we complainers are the unlucky ones. I take it your AC works fine. If it didn’t, would you report it to Ram Cares/FCA and take it to a dealership to try to get it repaired? I.e. complain about it. And then voice your frustration on this or other forums when nothing is done? Again...
