    Pulsar does NOT flash the ECU. The ECU in the 2019 is locked and can't be flashed. You have to buy a seperate unlocked ECU to use. I read that the other modules in the truck are aware when the ECU is swapped.

    MDS isn't even on when the truck is idling. It only turns on while driving under light throttle conditions and goes off if any throttle is added. Maybe choose another dealer?

    Does custom tuning disable MDS? I don't bother with the Pulsars MDS disabled tunes since it's really not disabling it. It just turns it off quickly after it engages. Like you said, happens over and over under light throttle.

    Must be more to it than that. 0.3 sec 0-60 is a 25hp gain by most estimations. We know timing is advanced. You are right that not much else is done. I don't see any great gains beyond that without supporting mods. Changing A/F helps in what way? Gassers have to run within specific limits...

    How do you keep MDS off? There is no way to switch it off that I'm aware of. The Pulsar "disables" MDS by turning it off quickly every time it engages.

    That may be the difference. Stock with eTorque, it's very smooth. I feel like it's due to the remap of the throttle. The stock mapping yields very little change in power with movement of the pedal. Performance mode is wildly aggressive in comparison. Enough so that rearending someone in traffic...
