Add me to the list. 2020 w/ 5.7. Crewcab. I've towed the same boat with 3 trucks. Old GMC= no vibrations, 2017 Ram+ some vibration, not too bad, 2020 RAM is a nightmare. Same boat and trailer @ about 5500lbs. Dual axle trailer. At 65mph the whole truck shakes like a dog crapping peach pits...
Bulletliner is an updated linex so I'm told. It's supposedly has a bit more uv stability. It really depends on the guy spraying it as to quality of the job. I would look at reviews and how long a shop has been doing it. $495 for 5.7ft bed.
According to the guy that sprayed my Bulletliner the...
I think many of the posters nailed it. I don't care about MDS. It works seamlessly. Start/stop annoys the hell out of me on my wife's car. We always turn it off. The point is that it's all more cost for virtually nothing. It's just another regulation that makes no difference.
BTW my 2017...
My brother in law gets similar large hail storms in Montana. He and throws a mattress on the top of any car outside when the warning happens. It works.
Good luck with the repairs. Pdr is really great if the paint isn't cracked. Can't even tell anything happened.
It certainly isn't a buyers market right now. I don't ever remember toyota going below 1%-2% over invoice plus any measly incentive.
Last September I leased a 2020 hemi crew cab big horn with some good options. Sticker was $50,560, my total cost if I purchase it at the end of lease is $38,800...
Mine is also black. Had been on the lot through winter. There were a ton of snow brush marks and swirl scratches from their tunnel wash. I corrected the worst of it. Megs ultimate polish with a green pad will take out 90% with three passes. Will do the sides this spring. "Detailer" is a very...
This. I was a Ford loyalist. Still have a mustang. What you get for the f150 just isn't worth that much more than the RAM. The f150 also has had an increase in issues the past few years. Major things like engine and transmission. The hemi is pretty solid and so is the 8sp. That sold me...
Dealerships are out to make money. We are trying to get the best deal. After an agreed upon price in writing is made that should be the end of the shenanigans. That doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes the dealer goes back on their word and sometimes the customer does. This isn't brand...
Well I was getting the clunk under my feet where the driver front body mount is located. This would happen while turning onto pavement that had a transition that dropped 1-2 inches.
I decided to check the torque of the body mount bolts. Spec is 80ftlbs. The driver front was not quite to...
Power folding mirrors are the nuts. I can fit through a 7ft wide door but one side of my garage is 28ft deep. The other bay is only 21ft. It will not fit on that side. Most neighborhood type houses around here built in the last 20 years have pathetic garage sizes. $500k houses you can barely...
I have a buddy with a lift. We split a 5gal pail of woolwax and got the pro gun. I used about a gallon including in the frame and around the wheel wells. Used about 6 cans of fluid film in the doors, inner/outer rockers and on the top of the wheel wells through the nice access points on the...
That's pretty much the way they've been doing it for years. Other manufacturers too. It's just surface stuff but sure gets your attention. My 2013 mustang was ordered by me. Built and delivered within 3 weeks. Not as much rust on the rear axle, but some. I coated the axle.and rear cast spindle...
I find the 5th gen way easier than the 4th gen hemi. The 5th gen you can reach from in front of the filter and get two hands on it to pin it off and handle it without a mess. Use the zip lock bag of course. I installed a fumoto F106 and the little spout reaches over the sway bar- no mess there...
Yes, Husky. Use the 3rd screw. The tape sucks. They will give you some clear film where the flap mounts against the truck painted surface so it won't rub.
It certainly could be but the 2019 tsb about the mounts is exactly what we are experiencing. There are replacement part numbers for new mounts and bolts. One guy even had a go pro video of the mounts moving.
Here, I found it...
I figure the tsb will cover 2020 pretty soon so I'll wait for that. In the mean time ill tighten the driver side a pillar body mount and see if that helps.
