By the way, your experience with Ram Doesn't Care is not unique. I have yet to see them actually help anyone. I think them being here is just a "feel good" move by Ram.
While I don't regret getting my Laramie at all. It does kind of bug me that I have never gotten better than 14.5mpg around town and 17.8mpg on the highway. And I have the 3.21 gears and always run the cruise control at 80 mph on the highway. As the OP suggests, one would hope that a modern...
I replaced my radiator cap this morning. Yes, before I started it up for the first time today
Anyway, it has been 10 hours now since I replaced the radiator cap, truck has been driven 4 times today. No antifreeze smell.
I will report back in a few days to claim victory if the smell does...
Interesting. My 2019 has the same smell. But is from the passenger side. The smell is strongest around the metal radiator cap. I am wondering if it is a bad gasket in the cap. This was a known issue in older Honda's. Considering very few parts in a modern RAM come from the US, they might...
Wow, amazing to see such high mpg on some of these. I have about 30,000 miles on my e-Torque hemi with 3.21 gears. I averagle 12.1 mpg around down and have seen, at best, 21mpg while on a trip from Raleigh, NC to Charleston, SC last summer.
Hmm... Sounds like a worthy weekend project for me. I might check all of my ground connections as well. Have not had any of the above problems with mine. But this sounds like cheap insurance against having them...
So, I too am curious as to where they all are...
LEDs are stock on the Laramie and way superior to Halogens. I test drove both a Big Horn with Halogens and a Laramie at dusk before buying my Laramie. The LEDs on the Laramie are awesome.
I am running them with the stock suspension. No lift. Yes, there is a little bit of rubbing at full lock. But, these tires are so far superior to the originals, that I love them and will deal with it.
I do plan to add some 1" spacers in the next month or so, but no lift in my future.
Here...
If I may, I have a 2019 Laramie with the 20" wheels, and I too noticed a slight tendency to wander in the lane when I still had the stock tires. I don't know what tires your truck came with, but mine had the Bridgestone Duellers on it. They absolutely sucked. I just upgraded to 285/60R20...
Bummer that no one has responded yet. I just had 285/60R20 Continental Terrain Contact A/T installed on my Laramie. I do NOT have a lift kit installed. So, stock suspension and stock 20" wheels.
They look great and do not stick out at all. But, there is a little bit of rubbing at full lock...
I have the e-Torque Hemi in my Laramie. Honestly, it had no bearing on my decision. I bought this truck because it was the color, trim and had the features I wanted (4x4, crew cab, etc) and none I didn't (didn't want pano roof because of leaks and didn't want 12" screen because of early bugs)...
About dealers as previous poster mentioned. There is a thread on this forum somewhere about dealers and who got good service. Check out that thread and buy from a dealer that people have had good experiences with. A good dealer always makes the difference.
I don't think it is Sirius XM. I did NOT opt to pay for it after the trial period was over. I get weekly Email from Sirius XM about coming back to the family. Yet, I still get the weather popups for stuff 3 or 4 counties away. So, I have a hard time believing that Sirius is giving something...
