This isn't limited to RAM... for all manufacturers, max payload and max tow are for 'properly equipped vehicles'... usually meaning the base model with very little options; same goes for EPA MPG....
I haven't watched the video, but Mega Cab adds weight and now sure what other options it had
I have less options on the Limited I ordered and this Longhorn has a payload of 2735#

For what it is worth, a little smoke coming from the oil cap is likely not an issue unless it seems to be a lot of smoke coming out under pressure...
I guess I may be one of the few who got the 12" screen for the 12" screen, not the crappy OEM NAV.
Honestly, any baked in GPS is crap and very quickly out of day.... don't even know why car manufacturers bother, they should really concentrate on making sure it works seamlessly with Android Auto...
While I certainly love my Limited, due to the payload (1310#) it is getting traded in for a 2500...
While it could certainly tow the weight, we would be significantly over on payload and we are not comfortable doing that...
About the only thing the same is cab/bed as @Billet1500 stated.
New frame, new suspension, new transmission (for the 6.4), both the 6.4 and 6.7 have been tweaked.... inclusion of a lot of the 1500 design elements that are very popular.

You are likely out of luck on the mileage.... the EPA MGPs is calculated from the model tested... which is likely the lowest trim with the least options... not your configured truck, and it is still an estimate, not a guarantee.
As far as far as the other items, follow your state lemon law like...
Most folks seem to still be waiting on delivery of their trucks... have you tried asking on the HDRAMS Forum?
@hutchman has had his for a bit and has put some miles on the truck and hasn't mentioned any issues.

Looks great! But with the 6.7 and looks like *all* the options, that payload is gonna small, maybe even in Powerwagon territory.
