So when I reach about ~50 mph (depends on wind etc) I start to hear whistling high pitched monotone noise. Even though it is not super loud it is unbearable as it is monotone and right into my left ear.
But I find out it is a mirror - when I fold them during a drive it immediately goes away, if...
You are correct except the best color is clearly Anvil :-D
BTW I found BTS to be really good deal- off road package, led lights, appearance package, alpine sound system (which is really good IMHO) nice wheels, great nice seats (+ few extra stuff like side step) for $2700 is really good deal and...
@Venom700 : The provided weather strip is 3/4x3/4 I believe so get something close to this size in marine grade.
Well by tailgate is really cannot be water proof, if you look how the tailgate closes tot he rest of the bed body there is a hole. I just recently tried to add some seal there but I...
I just installed MX4 on my and on friend 's truck. It looks awesome and perform well but it is not water proof. Expect leaks by tailgate and by corners at the end of the bed. Not much and not end of the world for me but it is not water tight. Maybe if I get some extra marine grade seal around...
That is my goal as well. To have a truck which gets me comfortably in the city / hwy but I can go hunt and fish with it withiut being affair of every bump. I also do not want to have any scraping or trimming..
Which tires are you getting?
What a good looming truck, I love the Anvil color!
I have basic 2" rough country leveling spacer.. it works just fine for me and not only truck looks better but lights are finally pointing where they should lol.
I will never haul anything close to trucks max so fixed spacer are fine.
Based on my research, with stock BTS suspension and 2" leveling kit the 34.1 inch tires (275/65r20) should fit without any issues. I have the Federal Xplora RT ordered so I can confirm in few days.
I have BigHorn built to serve which I believe has the same lift as offroad package + I got 2" leveling kit and indeed the stock 275/55r20 on 20x9 wheels look way too small. Would 275/65r20 fit without any rubbing in full rotation on stock wheels? Or can I go even bigger? It is quite hard to say...
Has anyone checked if tuffy lock box can be changed or upgraded? I would love to have pin or fingerprint lock on it. Probably overkill but it would be a nice upgrade
And another noob question - do you take care to dealership to change the setting for bigger tire or you just love with the fact that your readings are not accurate?
My understanding is that it is like any loan. You pay interest from remaining premium so yes the more you owe the less to pay it off. Fortunately interests are low now
By the way I leveled front by 2inches and now I need bigger tires lol.
I really like the wheels though so I have to figure out what can I fit on them without rubbing.
Maybe 275/65/20 would fit?
Does anyone have a tip? I would like to put bigger all terrains which would still be fun and...
Exactly. I was fighting with residue as well especially on one side. I was still able to kinda see the rectangle where the sticker used to be. But finnally pollisher wheel did the job and noone call tell anymore.
I was thinking the same, if I am to sell the car I will just buy the stickers...
I did not know eraser wheel I will try it out.
Well I figured that if I am gonna miss it I can just buy a new stickers. They are avaliable on mopar (68500062AA)
Hi,
Anyone removed the built to serve stickers from the side of the car? Do you have a preferred method, or what do you use to clean the paint from the glue residue?
The reason: I have car for a two weeks now and two independent people have already asked me where have I served. Since I am not...
