Just in case y’all didn’t get the gravity of the situation on the pump assembly I pulled out. Here is what it SHOULD look like. So yes what I pulled out was bent almost at a 45degree angle. If I didn’t pull this out and popped the tank in, man I’m lucky if I even had access to even 15gals cause...
You need to install a security bypass module. It’s located just under the drivers foot well. Directly above the the OBD port near the door side. You have to pull two plugs and put them into a security bypass module. Done need to remove any panels or anything. The bypass modules are about $50. I...
Well don’t ask me why but I randomly decided to pull my fuel pump today. I was intending on just swapping the whole tank as I got it. Well I open it and this is what I find.
First a fuel pump that looks super crooked. And a baffle sitting inside the tank just loose.
So lol if you get one...
Well I ordered my 3 parts (forgot above to mention the Nut/Flange which I need since we need to use all 3 straps) at a local dealer, unfortunately no one has two of the parts around us, so has to come from Michigan, so guess that will be 2-3 business days. So maybe Saturday (then could do it...
Alright folks, here is what Ive gathered so far after looking at this tank and parts diagrams. Here is what I really think you all going to need. I will modify or update this later once I make the swap, but will be slightly different for me since I got a good bit of parts already.
Here are...
I’m going to update the parts list tonight for you all. But I can tell you right now parts are missing from the original invoice the previous member posted. Definitely going to need hose and vapor lines (like me don’t need it thanks to them giving me the whole damn tank assembly). Even canister...
Well boys (and gals) looks like I lucked out.
Tank arrived. And it came with damn near everything. All three straps. Entire fuel line assembly. Pump. Evap canister. Hell even has some gas lol. I doubt I will need much in parts now. Just need to analyze the diagram to see what’s missing.
Yea I got the 26gal so most of it was similar like the fuel pump. So my 33gal should be here in 2hrs (driver just called me) so will see what it looks like what Im seeing I need from under the car without removing the old tank just yet. Then I will need to start ordering these hoses and vent...
So just to chime in. Finally ordered the damn tank. That should be here tomorrow. Coming with the straps. Coming off junked car. They didn’t include any hoses. So will have to order those soon.
Now here’s the other rub. From what folks mentioned on what parts are needed I’m seeing some...
I’m not anywhere near that. The bypass cost me $55 shipped. Then the AlfaOBD off play store is $49. I already had an OBDII Wi-Fi based reader anyways so that wasn’t any cost to me but even then those are only $15 on Amazon. You don’t need the MX OBDLink ones that cost $79. My $15 no name works...
Wouldn’t put a lot of importance on that honestly as it was done in the garage and didn’t move or even start the truck.
But key here is that it did change meaning I’m sure after a tank of full to empty it should reflect accurately. I validated it by checking my dads truck which is identical...
Just following up here, after getting the security bypass module to let me program via AlfaOBD, I simply changed the fuel capacity from 98 liters to 125 liters and saved it and saw my range increase about 25miles, so that is really all that needs to be done. Nothing else.
And no I still havent...
I can confirm here looking at my truck and my dads (who has the 33gal tank), the only setting you would need to change is the fuel tank from 98 liters to 125 liters. The cluster1 (fuel full and empty) are identical settings, so that means the fuel gauge portion doesnt get affected for the...
I’ve also failed to mention a key piece for me. Me and my old man both bought the same 2019 Limited. Except his got the 33gal tank.
Now I’m thinking of just one weekend taking my tank down and comparing pieces and parts (if we even have to still do that) and see what’s different from his. He...
So which two part numbers are not needed? Im probably just going to do this regardless, I will deal with the distance to empty portion later, parts of me think it may self figure itself out after a tank or two, but we will see.

I have iOS 13. It’s still half the screen when talking about the 12” screen. It just gives you more windows to view at once which still sucks for us cause it’s only using half the screen anyways on car play.

I couldve sworn on here someone mentioned that at SEMA recently Mopar was going to introduce this as they felt the whole Lifting market is dying out (I dont see that though). I want to drop mine but all the drops so far been spring based for the rear to level it out (which I would love to do...
This is what I been using and created a parts number cross reference.
Oil Filter Part# 4892339AA (Original Ram filter) (Wix 57060) (Mobil M1-113A)
Oil Filter Part# 04884899AC (Hellcat Oil filter that fits) (Wix 57899) (Mobil M1-210A)
Oil Filter Part# 5038041AA (Viper Oil filter that fits) (Wix...
I’ll just say this much. Big car guy. Never installed one before. Decided why not try it on the Ram to see what all the talk is about. I installed it last week before my road trip from GA to Delaware and back to GA. So was about 1800 total miles on the trip. Catch can was installed the night...
