See mine feels like it’s in the front which kinda supports my theory on the tires. I guess we will see what my service department finds. I talked to a good friend of mine today that’s a mechanic and he agreed that even though they can balance a tire and call it good that doesn’t mean it is. My...
Well it goes back to the dealer on Monday. Stopped in and the tech rode with me and definitely felt it. Said he’s gonna take the tires off the wheels and do a run out test on both. Hopefully that’ll either show they’re the problem or have them start looking for something else.
Well my luck has run out. The weather warmed up here in Ohio, and my vibration is back just like before. I don’t understand why it was smooth while it was below freezing and now that it’s above freezing it’s back. I almost wanna just go and have new Michelin’s put on, but I’m afraid if it’s...
I just ordered the Under Cover ultra flex and it’s being installed Thursday. I researched a lot of them and the Undercover to me seemed like the best one. I had a Undercover soft roll-up on my Silverado and I really liked how it fit. Hope I made the right choice for the money.
I wish I could’ve had a better answer for you because I know how frustrated I was with that issue. For whatever reason mine has been fine since and supposedly that was what they did to remedy it. Hopefully you’ll luck out like I did.
Salesman just got back to me and he’s telling me the hard reset is taking the positive and negative cables off for 20 minutes. He originally said it was a button sequence on the radio itself. Now he’s telling me this is what they did to mine to fix the issue. Hope this helps.
I talked to my salesman this morning and asked him what exactly was done to my truck. His claim was they hooked it up to their computer and reset the unit. I then asked him about what he said to me about doing a “hard reset” and he said yes you can and that there is a sequence of button pushes...
Service advisor just left me a voicemail and said he wanted to “clarify” the parts he was talking about. His claim is if the mechanic were to snap off the bolt while tightening to spec, that the bolt is unavailable until May and therefore I would be up a creek until then. I guess I must really...
My idle time is bad because on really cold mornings I let my truck warm up for a good 20 minutes before I leave for work and pry a good 15 minutes before I head home. My gas mileage has been horrible because of this, but I love getting in a warm truck so I’ll live with it.
Just called my dealer about the recall and he said the parts won’t be available until May. I said what parts? I told him the recall just calls for an inspection of the cable and to make sure it’s tight. So not sure what parts he’s talking about. Pretty sad that we are more up to date then the...
My mistake I thought I saw something on a hard reset on here. My issue was back in November and it did it for about 3 days in a row till I could get it into the dealer. Their claim was they did a “hard reset” and the issue cleared itself. I talked to my salesman afterwards and he told me if I...
Wife got me a set for Christmas and I just got them last week. She ordered them the beginning of December from our dealer and at that time she was told they were on backorder, but they may come in by Christmas. They are great and I like them better than the Weathertechs that I had in my Silverado.
I had this issue happen to me once while I was driving down the road. I had my cellphone laying in the console and my fob was laying on top of my phone. I moved my fob of the phone and it was fine. I thought maybe the phone was interfering with the signal, but I’m not that technical so not sure...
Honestly I’m not 100% sure. I think you can do it yourself. If you do a search on the forum I believe it tells you. All I know for sure is mine was doing the exact same thing. It would do it on my way to work, then I could go out a few hours later and it was fine. Its like it was resetting...
I’ve definitely come to the conclusion that some of these vibration issues are definitely tire related and I definitely think the tires, no matter the size or brand, are developing flat spots after sitting for hours or overnight. My truck has been basically vibration free for over a month. I do...
