I have been experimenting and have found something that severely reduces my vibration. Disable MDS and vibration is almost 100% gone. This can be done with any engine type by selecting "8" Gear limit. Shift like normal but when gear limit is selected MDS becomes disabled.
Mine is not tire related in any way. It is 100% RPM related. I can duplicate the vibration ranging from 35 mph to 70 mph. Its between 1250 rpm and 1750 rpm the worse at the 1250 ish range.
Waze works very well, got that tip from here a while back. The inability to change or add a destination while moving was frustrating in our Jeep and Pacifica, so this to me is better then the factory navigation.
I know the answer, but I am on a forum with a guy who swears I am wrong. Says he owns a 2019 1500 standard non nav 8.4 screen and he uses Guardian Uconnect app to remote start. I cannot convince this guy if he is remote starting from his phone he has the 8.4C. Has ANYONE ever seen or heard of a...
From a 32 yr veteran auto tech, I can almost 100% assure you mine is not driveline such as rotating driveshaft, rotor, wheel/tire. I am putting my money on engine. Mine is RPM, NOT speed related. The only thing speed plays in it is hitting the right speed to get the engine between 1400 to 1600...
Upper radiator hose stays cold at start up for at least 10 min that i have monitered so im not bypassing thermostat at idle anyway, but it sure seems like it. 1 more thing to add to the evergrowing list.
So long as i run manual mode its a lot better but auto it runs hi fan non stop wide open with 25 to 40 deg airtemps right now for the entirety of my 30 min drive home
Mine really is useless in auto temp, plus it takes my truck 25 min of driving to finally get to 200 deg. I run HI temp for 30 straight minutes on auto and never was more then close to warm. I thought the A/C was bad in this truck until i got cold. A/C is fantastic by comparison to heater.
This has to be the worse auto temp of any vehicle i have owned. 15 deg air temp, 29 deg engine coolant, high blower...anyone elses do this? Im used to the vehicle building some engine temp before it blast full song freezing you out.
Still following because mine seems to be getting worse. Have not even bothered with dealer because leaving it for 2 to 3 days to hear we cant find anything would be worse then living with the vibration. Not sure this will be fixed at the dealer level. Repaired May be once a cause is found.
If you have memory seats make sure you are on what you normally listen to before hitting save. I changed to XM then saved my setting on the door memory, now whatever I am on it will revert to XM. If its on FM when you memory set it will revert back to FM, XM when memory set, reverts back to...
I feel like it is engine rpm/load related. Will not be shocked to find its exhaust harmonics. Im willing to bet a weight on the exhaust pipes downstream to manifold upstream from Y will cure it. Toyota is fighting it currently in the Tacoma V6 models. Mercedes as well with same powerplant. It...
