As long as your happy with it, that's all that matters. FCA recently added 0% for 72 months, although that may not have stacked with some of the rebates you got.
Ouch, that hurts. I was about to pull the trigger on a limited with the tow package until I started looking closely at the window sticker and noticed the loss of power folding and surround view camera. Then came here and found out how big of a debacle it was
I absolutely hate the tow group debacle (probably much less than those that were victims of that whole mess). Nearly every single Limited within 150 miles of me has the stupid tow group or is missing the level 1 equipment group. I finally ended up just ordering exactly what I needed...
I recently requested. Haven't received the brochure yet, but hoping mine includes the $500 incentive. I have my truck on order and the extra $500 could sure go to use purchasing the bed step or a tonneau cover.
With you putting that many miles on the truck, lifetime max care is probably the way to go. I don't have experience with the warranty, but it sounds like it covers everything (other than normal wear/tear items and eTorque) until a repair costs more than the value of the truck. At which point...
Thanks, I also saw an old post on another forum about the site being discontinued. I guess I'll just be bothering RamChat every now and then to get updates on where I'm at.
One other thing, probably what's more important than FCA corporate is having a good local dealer with a great service department. A crappy service department can make for an awful experience, regardless of the severity of the problem.
Has anyone been able to track their order at the following site?
https://www.ramtrucks.com/en/mobile/vots/?ref=/vots/
I should be getting my VON or VIN any day and am hoping I can use the site to track since order tracking via the forum is no longer an option for new orders.
I'm in the same boat, but decided to go ahead and order my truck. It seems like FCA has been pretty proactive about fixing some of the common issues with TSBs and software updates. If you decide to purchase, I would check the build date and require that all applicable TSBs and software updates...
There is a mix of information about this. At first Ziegler was the only one saying the lifetime was going away with Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP) saying it wasn't going away. As the day progressed it was being said the Ziegler was told but released the information early and MVP started saying...
I was originally leaning towards a RetraxProMX, but the separate key and canister has me shying away from that option. The nearly $2000 price tag doesn't help either.
Right now I'm considering the Bak RevolverX4, but I'm waiting a bit to see if there are any kinks that need to be worked out...
Anyone considering the step, you can get 8% off at moparamerica using promo code "blackfriday". Not a tremendous amount of savings, but every little bit helps.

It's all going to depend on where your truck is in production. My guess is if you can't at least view your build by VIN, it's not going to be in the database for warranty purchase.
