I would replace them with the old style tow mirrors if you need tow mirrors. They look like the regular mirrors but can flip up for tow mirrors.

Update to this. Yes, it was a new mirror with memory, heat and BSM glass but no LED for it. Bought another one, wired in the wire for the LED and installed it. All working now as it should.

Get a fishing hook, poke it thru the Q-Tip and pull it out. They have a barb on them.

Did mine in under 2 hours. Watch the video, install and program with AlfaOBD. All works perfectly. $1500 just for install is ridicules.

I would get the adapter harness from @Jimmy07 here on the forum, change all settings in AlfaOBD to led lights and your system works just like OEM. Did mine 2 years ago and not one problem.

What you looking at is the charging voltage of the system, not the battery voltage. Charging will fluctuate as it is an on demand charging system, that's why it is fluctuating. The battery might be on the way out.

Did you re-pin the plug or did you get a adapter harness? i did exactly the same swap 8.4 non nav to 12.1 uc4. Re-pined the plug, new LVDS cable, everything worked at the 1st try.
