I special ordered a Lone Star quad cab. MSRP was 41,125, I paid 32,587. The dealer negotiated price pretty much the same as they would have done if I were purchasing a truck off the lot. Ordered on May 31, took delivery on July 19. Always a possibility that this was just one shady sales...

Just picked up my Lone Star quad cab yesterday. Pretty basic truck - bench seat, tow package, 33 gallon gas tank, Level 1 Equipment, 18 inch wheels. Bought it for towing a camper and payload was important to me - happy to see the actual payload rating, highest one I've seen so far.

Many happy years camping with a small fifth wheel, towed all over the US with our faithful 98 Ram. The trailer eventually had to be retired, but the Ram is still going strong. We have a 2019 Ram on order due soon, and will be getting a new camper next year for more adventures.

Made the mistake of driving by my dealer today - it's painful to walk down rows of new Rams when yours is sitting in Michigan waiting on a train...

Don't have my truck yet, still in shipping. But the detailed equipment list for the build online has the payload at 1900. Big Horn / Lone Star quad cab 5.7, very few options, 18" tires, payload chart lists standard payload as 1980 so that is reasonably close....guessing the 33 gallon gas tank...

I ordered a Lone Star quad cab on May 31. On July 3 it was built, inspected and approved for shipping. As of today there's no ETA to the dealer yet but my window sticker is in the system....now just a matter of waiting for that train.
