If it was me, I wouldn't be waiting for an appointment on the 22nd. As you've stated, you paid 60k+ for this truck ... the dealership deserves your full attention, and I would be making a stop there tomorrow unannounced. Go in and ask for the highest manager ... GM of sales or something, and...
Honestly with the way the market is currently, you could take delivery of the Longhorn and driver her for a few months while you wait for the 10th Anniversary ... then sell on the 2nd hand market and get more than what you paid for it.
Bit risky but best of both worlds, and you could end up...
The great thing about MD is that you get the great pricing AND great customer service. Sandi has been a treat to deal with ... it's rare that you can get both price and service, usually most dealers offer 1 and some don't offer either.
lol exactly. So what happens when EVERY dealer becomes "priority/VIP/expedited? Every dealer is front of the line? lol
We need to remember that ultimately, these are all sales people running these dealerships. They would sell their mother to make another couple hundred $$$. All it is, is a...

If I go to McDonalds and order a...
I'm so confused. If we are paying for this stuff, why is it not part of our final build? Yes, we all want our trucks built quickly, but why are they not giving us the option to A) have these items removed (with a price reduction of course), or b) to delay production until we can get them?
This...
Yep ... so it's a trade off, wait a while but get exactly what you want at a good price, or get something now but pay through the nose for it
12-16 weeks is what we are all being quoted currently from order date
Agreed. I would think though, that it's much better to have stuff off the ships and heading into warehouses though than sitting out in the open ocean for weeks at a time
Good news I think for all the supply backlog waiting on ships, hopefully this speeds our orders up even slightly!
White House: LA port going 24/7 to ease shipping backlog
