There is NO 3M tape on the 2019 DT. The flares are held on with clips. I just installed my rough country fender flares. I would say the gap is normal as the clips apply only so much pressure. It’s more noticeable because it’s white. Mike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would be willing to sell them. You are correct you spats won’t fit you would need the shorter ones. As far as retro fitting the OEM ones to your truck the OEM flares clip into holes on the fender so you would need to figure out a alternate method (some guys on here have used 3M automotive...
