BTW I am selling my factory ones (Diamond Black Crystal) if anyone is interested. I will post them in the for sale forum at some point.

Possibly if you spread out the ends a bit but you will more likely do more damage trying to remove them to spread them out.

There is NO 3M tape on the 2019 DT. The flares are held on with clips.
I just installed my rough country fender flares.
I would say the gap is normal as the clips apply only so much pressure. It’s more noticeable because it’s white.

The first guy wanted $800 told me he uses special additives, I laughed and walked away. I got them done for $350 at another place. They did a great job.

I taped off the 1500 and shot it with plasti dip as a experiment to see how they look.
I think it came out pretty good. Now I don’t have to get the all black ones.

I would be willing to sell them. You are correct you spats won’t fit you would need the shorter ones. As far as retro fitting the OEM ones to your truck the OEM flares clip into holes on the fender so you would need to figure out a alternate method (some guys on here have used 3M automotive...
Sorry for the long winded post:
I was looking if anyone could help me out with part numbers for the factory spats that go behind each wheel on non OEM fender flare trucks. Here is what’s going on. I have a limited that had the factory fender flares. I installed the rough country pocket flares...
I finally installed my Rough Country Pocket Fender Flares. Had them color matched. A note to anyone installing the flares on trucks with the OEM fender flares. You will have a gap behind each wheel on the fender lip because once you remove the factory flares the spat is shorter then trucks...
Just a update on mine. I brought the truck in for a oil change and had them address the issue with the tranny/driveline. They did a total of three updates and they said one was specifically for the drivability issue with transmission. We will see as always it wasn’t doing it when I brought it in...
My ventilated seats started to do the same thing the last month but of course it goes in for service on Monday and hasn’t done it in a week.

I have the audio dropout issue as well with the 12” screen. I have a IPhone XS and it has been doing it since day one. April 2019 build date. Hopefully a fix is in the works. Very annoying. Car play does work fine with no dropouts even with the iOS beta 13 software.
