SunTooHot,
There are a few posts on this same topic.
Here are two of the most active ones:
"Engine Stalled / Shut off"
"Engine shutting down while driving"
Many of us are experiencing the same problem.
I am waiting to hear from a Case manager from RamCares. I will see if there is any new...
Darn - I thought you were on to something with the RF controller.
My truck is still in the shop and they are working on getting the rear window leak repaired. Water had dripped onto the RF controller and I saw your post, so I thought we were on to something.
I think that I will still have...
This is the exact issue that all of us are having.
It looks like you are still under warranty. I would bring it to the dealer immediately. Please let us know if they find anything are come back with the same response that all of us get; "no error codes".
How is it possible that no one from Ram...
Jexx,
In my case, I am not sure. I tried to see if there was a way to disable the Start/Stop function when the issue came up, just to see if I could make it back home. I could not find the setting for that function. It was probably due to being so freaked out by the whole episode. I am so glad...
I posted this in another thread on this same issue:
I had this issue come up this past Sunday. The problem first came up when I was exiting my parking spot at Home Depot.

Model Year: 2020

I have a completely stock Limited Edition 1500 - no lift.
There was only a slight rub on the passenger side when turning the tire fully to the left. I made a small hole with a hole punch and used a tie wrap to hold back the liner.
I will try and send photos.
The look and ride comfort are...
I just replaced my stock Good Years with the Toyo Open Country A/T III. I had 22K on the GYs.
I love the Toyo's. I still need to cut or pull back the liner to avoid rubbing.
Mine are at 20K and only have about 5K o tread left. I had a similar experience with the factory tires on my Ford F-150 Platinum.
I would guess the Manufacturer goes with the cheapest option. I think others have mentioned this in various threads.

Biga,
I am not seeing the "rim protector" when I view the tires on the Continental website.
I have already scratched my 22s a couple of times and I am looking for a tire that will help avoid that.
Can you post a photo?/

The MT Baja Boss tires that I am talking about have a VERY aggressive look. They have only been out for a short period of time. You must be looking at something else.
I think the only size they have for a 22 inch wheel that will fit is the 33x12.5x22. Is that the problem??
They are also much...
I think there are several of us in the same boat. Nothing better than a forum like this to over analyze things - Ha Ha.
I am adding the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT to the mix........
Thanks for the additional information.
Another question: Do the tires extend outside of the rim enough t avoid "scraping" the rims on the sidewalk curb?
Just when I thought I came to a decision, someone has to add another option.
I had it down to the Toyos, but now I need to look at the Mickey Thompson tires.
After reading through a lot of material on this forum, I am leaning toward the Toyo AT3s for my 20' limited.
Can someone explain the difference between these two sizes:
305/45R22
33x12.5R22
Why are they sold in metric units as well as inches??
I must be missing something.
Dilanw93,
Does the tire size that you referenced correspond to the following in metrics units: 305/45/R22??
Also..
Did you burn through your factory Goodyear tires or just desire a change?
I have about 17K on mine and it looks as if they only have about 5K left in them.

I am reading through the forum posts and it looks like the Helwig sway bar is one of the more popular and effective mods.
I was looking for some advice on which model I should purchase. I ran into the same problem with amazon that others have noted. Amazon is saying the #7709 will not fit on my...
