Again, please tell me where to see that information. And what pulsewidth are you talking about? What do you mean by sprayed? The computer can calculate in many ways.
I misspoke. I meant to ask where you got the information that the MPG calculation used injector pulse width, almost every engine sensor, engine load, and RPM.
I know the dash will not be the same as the actual miles divided by gallons. That's what I said. It is figuring the MPG a different way. I can see this simply because it will change quickly depending on various factors. And I was wondering why it is designed that way. It's just not designed...
I am not trying to be a horse's butt, but where did you get this information? And a clarification on my part. I meant that the dash mpg indication is not using past idle time. Just that within a few minutes.
This is sort of a "I think" post. Just asking for comments.
Observing the miles per gallon indicator on the dash it changes easily. Since I have not reset the indication for several thousand miles the mpg indicated changes too much for the calculation to be total miles and total gallons used...
It has worked fine so far. I am just running the traffic cam now, but may add a cig. outlet and usb for the rear seats. I see no reason it should not work. I may try to trace it back to its keyed origin.
There is a rubber grommet surrounding something I forget now, but just pushed it through and the grommet sealed up just fine. You'll see it on the firewall from under the hood. A little hard for me to reach inside, but I did manage that. Another reason I did it that way was to eventually...
Most people don't have as large a problem with arthritis as I have. I could not figure out a way to lay on my back and work on the fuse panel. It was easier for me to run wires from the underhood fuse panel!
Just look at the diagram on the removable cover of the fuse box. It identifies F36 and K09. The two spade lugs are just between. I believe (am not sure at this point) one is hot and one keyed. And you're correct it can't connect to the battery. My arthritis meds make me fussy sometimes.
Just as possible help, if not already posted. Looking at the underhood fuse box and cover. Between F36 and K09 there are a couple of skinny spade lugs. The one toward the right side of the pickup(passenger) is hot when the key is on. I do not know if it connects directly to the battery. I...
I have a 2023 Ram 1500 with the 8.4 in center console. I can get the media queue on the screen, but I can not figure out how to clear it or to clear a specific media that I don't want. Can anyone help?
I have a 2023 Ram Hemi etorque. I need a point for 12-volt power under the hood that is ignition switched. Any help is appreciated. If this has been answered, just point me to the answer.
Has anyone installed one of the 12" aftermarket head units? Are they plug and play? Any programming? I intentionally did not specify which head unit. Looking for a range of information. Whatever experience you've had.
Stutzk, so because I didn't specify what comments no one can comment? If I specify what comments I want, why post? I already know. Just because you don't like the language doesn't mean it's wrong.
Actually, Slutzk, I like the head units. But that doesn't mean it could not be better. And I reserve the right to not like something, but still buy it and complain. Lots of other reasons to buy a Ram. Can I not make suggestions? Too many post police.
A lot of people don't like controls for radio and AC on the digital display. I can't blame them. However, if manufacturers would move the screen closer to the driver, maybe angle it a little so that it is easier to reach, make the controls bigger, and maybe provide sound feedback. Any...
