I've never had one issue with my Android on my 2019 Ram.
There are IPhone/Carplay connection issue threads, both here and on Mac Forums regarding the Ram DT.
I know this because I searched them because the wife has an iPhone and we've had issues connecting to my truck.
Absolutely. I mentioned removing the charcoal filter around performance, and honestly unless you dynoed it, how do you really know one way or the other? Does anyone have performance figures around removing the charcoal filter and installing a K&N? Literally does nothing, or does something...
There is no way that charcoal filter isn't causing an airflow restriction, just physics.
Now, if you are saying that restriction is taken into account by the air flow mixture and tuning of the engine, absolutely that makes sense.
That being said, my main reason to remove it is I'm afraid over...
A good alternative is removing the OEM charcoal filter at the top of the box (you can cut out the plastic rivets, be careful not the drop any debris in the process). That alone will free up the intake, though switching to an aftermarket performance drop-in filter could be a benefit, at the...
Two half-gallon zip lock bags, haven't spilled a drop in my filter changes on this truck. Crack the filter loose half a turn, slip on the first bag, loosen until it starts leaking, wait 30 seconds for it to stop leaking, slip off that first bag. Slip on the 2nd bag, continue to unscrew the oil...
I don't see much of a difference, each side wants it their way, no give or flexibility anymore, just extreme points of view by a vocal minority, the World moves on regardless of what they do or think since it gets undone by the next group that comes in.
It's like clockwork, President A wins...
The Hemi isn't really a powerhouse to begin with, honestly felt a bit lethargic compared to my 2.7L Ecoboost (weight & throttle response a bit part of that). That being said, the Hemi has much more character, which is why I traded for my Rebel in the first place.
However, I would consider a...
Could be, but the pod cast I've seen had workers there having to install components that had issues, like wiring harnesses that were too short that would likely disconnect miles later and cause problems.
These folks just assemble, likely to the best of what they have. I don't know if they are...
Cheapest thing is clean it really well, good wash down with dish soap, then peel up what you can, sand down the edges of where it's peeling and touch up with some roll on bed liner. Will cost you just a few bucks, some elbow grease and vastly better than paying that kind of money.
You could...
Stellantis has been short sighted, a lot of the layoffs they implemented already are going to effect quality and customer service, which cause them to lose more sales in the future. Brand new trucks that are both expensive, filled with bugs and a dealership network that is slow to fix these...
Have you seen the matted one? It makes the screen look tiny in comparison.
That being said it should be fairly easy to modify, I would look up the videos that show the 8.4" to 12" screen conversions, will give you an idea on what to remove and can access the bezel. You can go to the...
That sucks, did you check the screws/cables in the engine bay circuit brake box? If one of those is loose, it could be the cause of this. Takes like 5 minutes, highly recommend that's your next step if you haven't done it already.
That's because tow/haul only effects how the transmission responds, holding shifts longer when upshifting and downshifting sooner, also holding a lower gear when braking, including not upshifting until you press the throttle again.
The part of the "Sport Mode" you want is the throttle expo...
Tow Haul mode is essentially a Sport Mode except without the accelerator exponential ratio being changed. Which honestly is a big part of the "sport" in sport mode.
Hence the reason people get pedal controllers.
True, but as you say, that 30% left are some in-depth & useful stuff in the big manual not in the quick start, but agree I prefer a PDF which I can easily search instead of riffing through a paper version, but that could be an issue if the OP doesn't always have a connection.
Either way, for...
Those are the little booklets, the big manual that is so big & heavy you can use to defend your house from an intruder isn't included unless you contact Mopar directly. In the past, you got it for free, but apparently you have to pay now.
Though based on what the OP stated, he didn't even get...
Sucks to hear that, it looks like inflation is caught up to freaking owner's manuals!
Or to be more accurate, the current corporate mantra of charging more while giving less.
