Thanks to Diesel Rebel, his video got my head straight with this and I was able to get my speedo calibrated. My Tires measure out to 34.09" which is just a bit smaller than Diesel Rebel's tires. My circumference came out to 2685, which according to WAZE has my truck going 29-30 mph with cruise...
Already received the BAFX bluetooth OBD connector, waiting on the SGW module to be delivered and then will be purchasing the AlphaOBD software to get this done.
Mine is doing the exact same thing. I have not been able to pull a code though, although the message on the cluster said "REMOTE START MALFUNCTION" and got the CEL. It did this twice within a couple of weeks. Today the CEL turned off. I have not used the remote start since the last time it has...
So how did the RC Calibrator work out for you? Asking as I am planning on lifting my 2020 3.5" and putting either 33's or 35's on, leaning towards 33's though.
Not all come with an actual spare tire. Yes it was on an 18 and the same size tire. The thing is, it stated TEMPORARY on the sidewall. It is a full size spare, but it is a doghnut full size spare. I ended up buying a used tire local to me as I am lifting my truck in January and putting new tires...
And now you know why I was messing with the spare, lol. The so-called full size spare is nothing but a donut tire. Soon enough the spare will match the tires I put on.
No, you assumed that. No way I would have got that from what I stated. But, opinions vary from person to person. All good.
But anyway, was off road, and a rock stabbed my tire through the sidewall, lol.
Well, I found out the hard way that the spare is only an R18 and my 1500 came with R20's. hahahahahaha
Long story short, I am looking for new tires, and will be putting on a 3.5" lift in January.
Removing the backing was easy, get he vinyl in place easy, removing the front cover of the vinyl did not matter what angle it was pulling the vinyl off. Fresh wash and used alcohol on the area, so no anything was there to prohibit it from staying put. So in my opinion, the product is pure...
Just ordered some JB Weld plastic weld putty, and ordered some touch up paint from Mopar parts. Not going to bother with that garbage vinyl that you can peel off with just rubbing your finger over it. Glad it just rubbed off as I wash my truck with a pressure washer, that garbage vinyl would not...
