Not sure if I posted some of these already, but:
Glued magnets to my hatchet and buck knife to stick to the side of the truck. I think I am going to add a couple more to add a little more grip.
Centre console cover. I got a 65lb dog whose claws would destroy the console if it wasn't covered...
I wonder if it's the regen braking that I'm noticing. Does it still activate even if you are just inching forward or when you are in reverse? Can you turn it off? I'd like to be able to do some testing with it on and off...
Mine shuts off while I'm still rolling forward. Mind you I'm only doing like 1km or 2km an hour, but I am definitely still rolling when the engine shuts off.
And, yes, I lift my foot off the brake and then step on the gas after about a second.
My issue is that if I'm going between the gas and...
I find my extremely jumpy... When the truck auto stops, I always just take my foot off the brake, pause a sec and then step on the gas. If I don't, it lays you back in the seat and tries to give you whiplash. I'm assuming I'm just not used to it yet, since I've only had it a couple weeks.
I understand that, but is that 18" rim wrapped in a tire that has the same diameter of a 275/55/20? Because if it doesn't, running that spare is going to cause issues with the speed sensors because that wheel will not spin at the same speed as the rest of your wheels... Which basically makes...
Ummm... Is what you are saying that if you have 20" rims and do NOT have the ORP, you have an 18" spare? Does the tire size on that 18" spare make the spare an equivalant size to 275/55/R20?
Could you attach the bumpers to the deflector instead of the hood? Though I suppose the bumpers hitting the hood would still, eventually, cause paint dmg. I suppose there are ways to gently remove tape from paint... I just cringe thinking about it, though. LOL
Ok, so I just watched a video of removing the centre console and I can see at least one spot that may have screws. At the rear, I'm not sure what would be there... But that's a start. Oh, and to get to those screws, there are two little panels on each side that you have to remove.
Panels
Damn, looks like you're on Mars... If Mars had blue sky, anyways. I would love to camp in a place that beautiful. What time of night did you take those pics that you got the stars as well? Or what kind of awesome camera did you use?
Yeah, I'm in the Fraser Valley and I could almost go out and mow the lawn. Not that I mind the lack of snow... But the higher elevations sure could use it.
It was really easy because I stuck the charger to the phone and then inserted the phone into the holder and then pushed it back so the charger stuck to the truck. No issues at all.
Here is a pic of what I did. Man, the camera really shows up the dust. I've only had the truck a couple weeks, so dirty already. I know what I'll be doing today...
