The filter is ridiculously overpriced. It is a pleated filter: nothing more, nothing less. It should cost the same as any half-decent oil filter on the shelf at Advance Auto or NAPA. The MOPAR pricing is insulting.

My dealer (the service manager) has told me that the HPFP recall requires two visits: one to see what parts are needed and the second to install said parts (once they arrive, obviously). It seems odd. Maybe they're checking for metal in the filter???
