Stellantis recalls 1.5M Ram trucks to fix software bug that can disable stability control

I have provided you with the documents that state otherwise. I would hate for you to waste your time. If the dealer does it they will not get paid for the repair/flash.

Has anyone added a factory trailer brake controller to a 2025 yet?

We don't remove the rear seat if the wiring is there. It takes 10 minutes at most to update the sales code.

At the dealer, we are verify that the connector at the module has the wiring installed. If it does we order the module and switch only. Install and program them for $500 installed and programed.

    Exhaust manifold recall

labor is 3.1 hours/side from Alldata plus any diag. List on the newest manifolds is around $129. Most dealers, sell parts over list in their service departments. Not to mention supplier change has manifolds on backorder again. The newest revision doesn't include the tiebars.

    Cargomaxx HD coils

I think the coils you are thinking about are going to be too much and may ruin your unloaded ride.

    Cargomaxx HD coils

I'm just giving an heads up. When on a lift with rear end at full drop the springs are not in contact with the upper isolator. When I lower my truck when I have it in the hoist, as soon as the tires make contact with the ground I make sure they are going to seat correctly. It's just advice I...

I am in a jam, please recommend me a dealership in MD for service

3 weeks isn't that long of a wait time. Call around and see who can get you in sooner. Make multiple appointments at multiple dealers until you get in sooner. When is this trip?

    Cargomaxx HD coils

Really a spring compressor? When I installed mine, they were very easy to install. I'm thinking 3 inches, maybe more or extra space when shocks disconnected. Did you need a spring compressor to remove the longer oem spring? When the truck is on the lift, the springs are not touching the upper...

Not all mechanics are good with electrical, even dealer techs can struggle.

    Cargomaxx HD coils

My biggest concern with these springs. When lifting the truck on a lift the springs can fall out of the perchs/upper isolator. When lowering you just need to make sure whoever lifts the truck(you or a shop) pays attention and checks them. Other than that, no need for air bags or timbren like...

    Yet another Etorque question

Takes 2-3 hours if you are busting ***(depends on the person). July it paid 5.4 hours for both sides. Do I think 5.4 was too much, yes. It should be more like a 3.5ish hour paid job.

    Yet another Etorque question

Ram quality, customer support, dealer support, and everything they do has dropped off so badly in the last 4 years. They have zero clue how to make it better, cutting costs isn't they way to make it better. Maxcare, outsourced Ram cares, outsourced Tech assistant, outsourced Service info...

    Yet another Etorque question

If you are concerned about reliability at all, why would you drive a Ram/Stellantis product?

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

There are NO documented flashes to PCM via tsb star/cases in service library. We do not know what the flash was for(what it was supposed to fix). They provided flash part numbers with no related service documentation, warranty claims like to have actual service reference to what the flash is...
