13.5 seems below expectations. I hope these issues get fixed for you. Mine is sitting in the quality assurance parking lot right now. I hope it makes its way inside for a long time.
Break in mileage? Perhaps get a bed cover? You don’t have a signature with your truck but is it a loaded crew cab with more weight? But my main observation is there is no way the rated MPG was for 3.92 gears. That is an option and I would expect it to significantly affect highway mileage...
Sounds like you won the crap lottery and got ALL the common problems that others on this forum are having. That is unfortunate. From what I read the leak in the sunroof is fixable. Something with a drain tube. You should have no mpg gains driving highway because of etorque. That helps for stop...
Only two I test drove was Limited and Laramie. I do not suggest choosing a Laramie over a Limited without trying both. The limited is just another level in the seating materials and comfort. In the end I got the Laramie fairly loaded due to how it looks on the outside with the Sport appearance...
I ordered mine 8/30 and order tracking says it’s built but sitting in Detroit for reasons I don’t know. If they don’t actually ship it to me that suggests there is a problem holding them back. I will post if they ship it.
I am thinking that 25% may be right for all trucks sold but right now most of them are high end so people are going for lots of bells and whistles. I’ve done the math and it would take five years and a decent amount of stop and go driving to break even on it. I still ordered it for other...
IMO the proportions of a 6ft crew cab look better and I really wanted one. Also the bed space and hauling drywall with the tailgate down and nothing hanging off is a plus. But fitting in my garage was more important. So to answer your question: yes, it is too long. If I didn’t have a garage I...
Thanks for the info. You are rural and have so many options around you that I am very interested in what you consider the best. We will add those spots to our destinations. My wife wants to know why you didn’t like the popup and went to a travel trailer?
Just saw this thread. Similar situation except southeast PA. In fact that is one of the biggest reasons we are buying a truck. I would still be ok with our tents but my wife is past that. She wants popup and I want travel trailer so our first few trips will be to RV shows to figure that out...
Just the fact that they acknowledged a problem is a real positive. Maybe their engineers figure out the problem and it is hardware. Maybe the crossovers are not set correctly and too much power is going to the wrong channels (not saying that is it, but it could be something like that)...
I was debating both the sentry and BAK for a while. The thing that steered me to the BAK: it is more established. More reviews. Stuff like that. But this thread has me second guessing the entire category. I just don’t know what to make of the Truxedo Velcro. Will it help with water? Do I want...
I provided cautionary tale number 1 in this post earlier. Here is number 2 to anyone reading this. I just checked my window sticker. I am still on order but thanks to this site’s order tracking I can view it. This is right from the sticker:
