I thought about that. Probably really rare and I don’t want something with airbags that went off in the seats. I also considered custom made seats but that likely costs even more when I know I like the limited seats.
Didn’t want to see this. Etorque and the tech package are my biggest risks. The fact that one broke doesn’t concern me. That Ram can’t fix it cause of parts is the problem. It would suck for me but they shouldn’t build my truck until the people who already have a broken one are fixed. That goes...
They also tend not to stay long. I have had three different salespeople at the same FCA dealer in 6 years. I have a ford salesman who has been at the same place 20+ years and knows his sh** but that is rare. My wife jokes they get fired after selling me a vehicle because I beat them down so...
I am one of those who ordered a decked out Laramie instead of a Limited because I don’t like chrome.
But my wife and I test drove a Limited and the seats were significantly nicer. We both thought so. I am thinking of trying to upgrade my seats. Does anyone know if the foam is different? They...
Trying to be the voice of reason here. If I were you, the 5 1/2 month wait would be the thing that irritated me most. I feel you are fortunate they are willing to take it back and let you order another one with no penalty other the actual depreciation you put on your trade. A new one will take 8...
It may not be permanent. When I was configuring rims were $1300. The next day when I ordered they were $2000. Now they are $1300 again. Something weird going on. Not sure what I will pay when my truck comes in.
My issue was that my salesperson could not hit the button. It had to go through the special Ram person the next business day. I didn’t even know about a VON until I read about the tracking thread here. I called yesterday and am awaiting a call back. If I don’t have an order I am going to have...
There are some quirks with the ordering system. 4 weeks ago when I placed my order, my dealer could not do it. Something about the seats in the Sport Appearance Package were a problem. He had to go through his RAM support contact. They have a special name for those people but I forgot what it...
Most of the vehicles I have owned operated much the same way. If it is already hot and humid, it takes actually driving around a while for them to cool off. If this is the problem being discussed then I am a lot less worried. It doesn't sound like it. I started rereading the posts and while...
I promise that no matter what I find out when I get mine, I will put in the build date and the temps (in and out). I will showing up to take delivery with a thermometer because this issue concerns me more than anything else on this forum. However; it will be late October in PA so I expect it...
I found this went into some of the aspects of it that other articles didn’t and it wasn’t written too technical.

For a quick touch up I have used a meguairs combo cleaner conditioner spray. When I really feel like doing it right I use Zymol. It is two separate products so there is a lot of work and elbow grease involved. It it does last. Never put a glob of conditioner on the ventilated part. Put it on...
My bad. I saw a thread on this forum about it and thought this was it
https://www.mopar.com/en-us/store/accessories/product/77072306AD/Ram+Air+Induction+Kit.html but that is for a dart.
If I understand correctly you can hook up the Mopar CAI to it. They call it Ram air but since the scoops face backwards I think the Ram is a noun for the truck not a verb like it was in the 60s versions.
Yes. We also have expectant mother parking spaces. Just stopping in for 5/10/15 minutes parking spaces. Park here and let me bring you out your food spaces. Employee of the month parking spaces. Some stupid thing with a recycling sign parking spaces (which may be the hybrid spaces). I agree...
I was going to say the same thing. I have a mustang and same thing happens. A battery operated leaf blower is quick and easy. Also gets water out of other nooks and crannies and wheels.
I’m not feeling good they have this figured out. If no one on this thread has said anything about a dealer fixing this so I am not optimistic. I will bring a thermometer when I pick up my truck in October. Not sure what I am going to do if it is bad.
