Doesn’t that require to disassemble the headlight assembly completely to remove that? Like putting it in the oven and baking the light so the glue softens and stuff?
They were pretty easy. You do have to wire in the resistor but that’s not hard if you have any background with splicing wires. I haven’t thought about the orange sidemarker yet
That’s what I bought as well. I gave it a quick try (15 minutes) since I had some downtime. I figured I’d try to see how difficult it was. I got like 3/4s of the headlight but I really started struggling I got to the bend where the headlight wraps around the side. I then had to leave so I just...
Correct that’s what they do. Here is the link for them. Make sure you get two bulbs and not just one (yes they are expensive). And also. You WILL need the resistor kit for it or else it will hyper flash and the warning will come up on the dash...
HIKARI LED Headlight Bulbs Conversion Kit-H11(H8,H9), 2019 New Gen of HIKARI, Adjustable Beam, 9600lm 6K Cool White,2 Yr Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GKPR452/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RTIuCb9T4AX38. I believe these are the fog lights. I ordered the high beams long before the fog lights and...
They aren’t that bad. Just take the 4 front screws holding the wheel liner in. Then there’s one push pin to pull out as well. After all that just pull the liner back and have the wheel hold it in place so you can fit you arm in there. Took me 30minutes roughly to do both
From headlight revolution I just did the lows which were all pictured. None of those photos were high beams. The high beams I bought some cheap pair on amazon which I never use anyway since the lows are bright enough. The fog lights I also bought on amazon and they are very good. I can run the...
A lot of people crammed the wiring into the headlight assemblies which is a fine option. The led fogs that I bought didn’t have a lot of wiring so it was no probelm for me. I just bought some random amazon led fogs
I do agree that the way these fit in is kinda weird but I do like them still. Lights up the backup camera very well at night. It takes a second for the backup to adjust to the brightness. I have not had any problems with beam pattern or any condensation in the lenses. I’ve had these on ever...
Honestly didn’t even think about taking pictures. I should have. I used some double sided 3m tape to hold the ballast on to soMe flat surface(I don’t rememeber what I mounted it to). Then the canbus box thing I ziptied to soemthing because the tape wouldn’t work for some reason. I did this a...
I cut a hole on the cover and put my own grommet so that everything can be outside the assembly. I was also worried about having it inside the assembly which is why I did it like I did. More time to do it but worth it
I’m sorry I forgot to answer that part of the question. They still come on with the DRL. But instead of being dimmer like the normal bulbs do...these come on at full power. They don’t dim
