I did the headlights on my RAM. I don’t have the led package but this looks awesome. I will be a attempting the taillights next time it warms up. I used the film instead of the spray on. It was a little harder than I was expecting
That’s really strange. I did one per side. I’m gonna gonna have to take mine apart one of these days to double check. I know I did those two wires. Spliced one end into the colored wire then the other into the negative or ground wire.
You’re welcome. Trust me there’s like 2 or three forums on this exact question and a lot of people wanted to swap over the assembly...me included. The only thing you can do is contact a retrofitting company so they could customize your headlights
Still no swapping of assemblies. You will have to contact retroshop.us or other retro fitting headlight company’s to take your headlight assemblies and “rebuild” them to have a custom look. You can swap out the oem assemblies from RAM if you can figure out how to make a wiring harness to make it...
It was not easy doing these. With the curve in the lens and the wrap around the fender it makes it quite difficult. Took me about an hour each side to get it as good as I did. I had a crease on each side but it doesn’t bother me. Haven’t driven at night yet but i would recommend the lighter...
You will get condensation in the headlights. I drilled a hole in the back of the cover just big enough to fit the stuff through it and then put a rubber grommet to prevent water getting in
For the left front turn signal you are going to want to splice into the green/white cable and ground. And then for the right turn signal you are going to splice into the white/beige and ground wire.
It installs easy. The wiring going to the back of the headlight is where the wiring for the turn signal is. All you gotta do is find which one is the power wire for the turn signal and splice it in there. I don’t remember which wire it is but it’s not really hard to find
So far nothing with the whole swapping out the halogen assemblies to the led assemblies. Apparently it’s more complicated than they thought. But i know of a couple different companies that are retrofitting the halogen assemblies into having some halos and putting in their own projectors and...
