CANBUS is the cars network (cars run networked components now totally unlike the simple 12v they ran on years ago.) This means they are saying that the truck will not pop up an error message when it detects something wrong with the network. The issue folks have been having with LEDs is RF (radio...
If you really want that wire hidden, it's easy to pop loose the whole screen/vent assembly. For this you wouldn't have to remove it or even disconnect any wires. Just follow these instructions to pull it just loose enough to tuck your wire and then reinstall. I think it would take <5 min...
Do a search here. There is a member who makes/sells them for the DT and they fit perfectly with usable cutouts that the OEM versions do not have. And they cost less.
Only time I had this happen was when a West Texas grasshopper was smashed into the sensor, completely blocking it. Wiped, more like pried, it off and all was good.
After looking at the Ford website it appears they still have the problem of only offering one interior color on the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. I think one reason you see so few F-150 Limited's now is due to the blue interior and they've kept that for the '21 with very light seating...
Speaking of the lie flat seats - has anyone laid their Ram seats back all the way? In my Limited they already are lie flat. You have to flip up the back seats to get all the way down but that's a sleeper in my book.
The 75 lb extra also includes the frame around it and the bed stiffening so the tailgate itself is not 75 lbs heavier. I've not seen anything on how the damper works on it but on the non MFT models it is just a small shock behind the driver's side tail light with no adjustment.
Any rough idea on how much clearance between top of safe and slider? Asking as those with Longhorn/Limited have deeper sliders that may not clear with this. And I'm interested.
I put the chokes at both ends of the rear camera cable but ultimately that didn't solve the issue. I got in touch with Viofo tech support and they sent me a thicker, more shielded rear camera cable. That did the trick with no chokes needed. I routed it down the A pillar and under both door...
When using conditioner on these seats, put some on your rag first, then fold over the wet part of the rag and rub to distribute the conditioner so that the rag is wet but doesn't have any blobs of conditioner in any place. That way when you wipe you'll get even coverage but won't jam any holes...
I've got those same holes and noticed them at delivery. I always just figured that's how they were welded from the factory. Doesn't reduce capacity any way I can see so I mentally moved on.
Happened to me. The rear camera cable was the cause and it emitted just enough noise to get in the way of the front wheel TPMS. The receiver is mounted to the back wall of the cab so any noise close in spectrum inside the cab is perfectly positioned to interfere. New thicker, more shielded cable...
Thanks for this! Apparently the manufacturer doesn't even have this one on their website yet but they do offer a lot of different colors once we can order.

It can start the truck as it does every start/stop once running. Ram made the decision to not let it perform the initial cold start. The only reason I ever heard was due to the Li-Ion battery properties in very cold climates where a standard battery performs much better. What you experienced is...
Search is your friend. Here's the easy fix without a dealer making it worse. Almost two years now and the tailgate still sits perfectly centered.
