Yes, just as effective. It doesn't matter what kind of suspension you have. They all sway or lean when cornering and the sway bar is designed to counteract that. Many of us here, myself included, have the air suspension and find the Hellwig to be a "why didn't this come from the factory?"...
Just wanted to post some old wisdom. My grandfather used to say this as he was a simple man who was the HS principal and football coach in a small town in West Texas. It translates to "the more stuff you have, the more problems you are going to have" and yes, this applies to trim levels too. You...
Here are some RamBox insert plans for a fire extinguisher and great photos in the last post:

Just a follow up. Since I installed the ferrite chokes and re-ran the rear cable, not only does everything work now but I actually think the keyless entry works better than the day I picked the truck up. Our favorite Mexican restaurant has neon signs in all the front windows and when I park...
Yes. Only when backing out of garage first thing in the morning. I LOL'd when I first read of the "Chewbacca" noise but that perfectly described what I was hearing. I laughed again when I saw what they'd installed to fix it but it worked. ~6 months later and it's still gone. I'm almost at 22K...
Not sure of the TSB number but your fix doesn't look like mine did. I posted a picture here of what the caliper brackets look like. It did fix the squealing.

Easiest way to see them is to stand in front of your truck and do a remote start. You can easily see them swivel and it's much more noticeable than from inside the cab.
Finally got it all working without interference. I installed one each of these ~4" from each end of the cable:

I then uncoiled what was in the headliner and the extra cable (about 9') just runs down...
I've got some ferrite chokes arriving today but Viofo got back to me with two things. First they said not to use any loops in the rear camera cable. That will take some creative wiring especially now that I've seen the number of airbags above the headliner.
Secondly, they are shipping me a new...
It's well documented how sensitive the nearfield reception on the Ram is where it can get blocked by LED lights (both on the truck and nearby) and other things even with the 4 antennas in the truck. Now that I'm dealing with this it's dawned on me that adding a little RF interference via...
Update: First drive today and the Al foil wrap did not solve the issue. "Service TPMS came up." I then got a response from Viofo and they asked what happens when I disconnect the rear camera. I did and that seems to have eliminated the issue. I'm now waiting on them to find out what's up with...
I'd pass and tell the sales manager why you are passing. I get that most people don't care about other's property anymore but for a sales rep to treat their own inventory that way?
I've now figured out that the 12V/5V converter (switch in middle of hardwire kit) is the culprit. I tried different battery voltage settings with no change. I then wrapped it a few times in aluminum foil and the problem is now gone. Since mine is vertically oriented I left it open on the ends so...
With the USB cord there is no issue so it is clearly a hardwire problem. For grins, I undid the zip tied cables underneath the dash and moved all the extra to the left end of the dash as others have done. I actually think that made it a bit worse. Now the passive unlock (grab the door handle...
