Is your truck not under the 3 year 36k bumper to bumper warranty?
RAM warrantied my rear window leak caused by a cracked frame at 25948 miles on 1/6/2020, delivery date on the truck was 8/17/2018.
edit: I would go to a different dealer and not even mention the TSB.
I never bothered with any sort of memory saver when disconnecting the battery, unless I was trouble shooting something.
A small inconvenience for loosing the settings while the truck gets to re-learn shift points.
The 3 year 36k warranty should cover that.
The rear window FRAME is broken, the rear window FRAME is leaking, not the glass, a big difference when it comes to warranty coverage.
I would stick with the mopar 8-9 speed fluid. Tranny replacement is not cheap if it lets go. Guy at work had one replaced not too long ago, 5 to 6k IIRC.
If you have the 8HP75 then I see no reason why not.
My `72 AMX with the 727 did not have a drain plug IIRC. Just "dropped" one corner of the pan and drained the fluid.
AFAIK.
One is "check" specification, if it is within then fine.
The other is the "set to" specification numbers if an alignment is needed.
Not sure why they are written like that, the numbers line up in the end.
We have the 8HP75 that you are most likely seeing the videos about on YT.
One on amazon does not seem to have a drain plug either.https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Mopar-Transmission-Sub-Assembly-52854834AB/dp/B0CMBMHYVY
Not sure what to think about all that, too many random things going on at once.
I would start by replacing the battery with a new, fully charged one, no matter what the tester says about the old one.
Then I would check the main ground connections and while at it, take a look behind the back seat...
