I will say that if you can swing the Mopar lift, go for it. The Fox shocks make the ride so much better! I have the ORP and it was an instant difference when I got it back on the road. Just MO on this one. Here are a few of mine with the lift, wheels (0 offset), and tires (285/65r20 AT3Ws). Very...
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new ride. Agree with the statement about the overall luxury of these things...crazy. Enjoy the new ride, have fun on the forum, and good luck with college selection.
Welcome and can imagine the feeling of being back! Saw a thread the other day about swapping to the 33g tank. Be careful, this forum is going to kill your bank account. Lol
I am a fan of the brakes on these things. I do have eTorque and took me just a bit to get used to the regen braking though. Overall minimal dust from the pads, if any at all, and fantastic stoping power.
I ended up with 285/65r20s Wildpeak AT3W’s but on after market wheels with a 0 offset. I have the mopar lift with 0 rub. You should be fine with that size.
Ha! That’s awesome. I am super happy with it and the camping is super nice in it. Yes, having the windows open on the sides make access so much nicer. Think you will be happy with it. Send some my way when it get it done.
I have a high lift that I used to rip up stumps before I had this truck. Lol. With that being said, these trucks don’t really have any good lift points on them for that, that I can see.
Put the Mopar lift on and bigger tires. Now need a jack that I can take off-road as well as on road that will accommodate. OEM jack is too short now and would not trust it in an off-road situation.
Thoughts on the best approach for this?
I am selling my Laramie sport wheels with tires and looking to see what the going rate has been on the full set. Thinking 1200 for wheels and tires (with a little over 5k miles). Wheels are near perfect still.
