I think they made the GT for the people who complain about the dial shifter. I'm glad the majority of trims kept the dial. I think most people like it. The interior of my Ram is the main reason I bought the truck. I love all the storage space. I had a column shifter in every truck I've ever...
Btw- it is terrible for your motor to let it idle for extended periods of time. That's why u never want to buy an old cop car at an auction! 2 or 3 minutes is plenty for the fluids to lubricate everything before taking off. If your cold put on a hat & gloves ! Before anyone comments & says...
People who say they are getting well below the sticker are not taking into consideration how long they are letting their truck sit & idle in the driveway before going somewhere. Reset your thing as soon as u actually pull out of the driveway. I have no problem getting close to what the sticker...
This must be a joke or your smoking something. I got the exact same truck but I have a 2020. I even got the 3.92 gears & I never get worse than 15 mpg city driving it like Dale Earnhardt! I can easily get 19 or 20 mpg highway no problem.
Take the money u would spend on that TRX & donate it to charity. We will only be on earth maybe 80 yrs give or take, but we can make a lasting impression.
Yeah, I don't know about that. I read several articles from different sources that said only let your vehicle idle for 30 seconds to 1 min. Then drive it but don't slam on the gas until it's fully warmed up. If u let it sit in your driveway & idle gas can get in the cylinder wall & since it's a...
Yes, I've recently read several articles that say letting your truck idle is terrible for your motor. Gas gets in the cylinder wall, washes the oil away. I never knew that. I don't know why everything has remote start these days if it's prematurely wearing out the motor ?
I put mine in the slide out tray area where the change holder is or in the winter it's inside my zipper pocket on my Carhartt jacket. There is only 1 thing I would like added to my Big Horn & that's keyless entry. It sucks pulling out my fob when it's -10 below zero to hit the unlock button.
Who is complaining about spending $1,400 on LED lights ? I'd do it in a heartbeat if mine didn't come with LED from the factory. Best $1,000 I ever spent in my life. I absolutely can not stand the Big Horns with the Halogen lights. I've noticed 2022 Laramie trims with Halogen lights now too at...
So it looks like the OEM LED's are $1,400. That ain't bad at all. They are $1,000 if u get them on your truck from the factory but from what I understand u can't get a BH with LED's anymore? I think the Halogen housing is hideous looking. It ruins the whole truck imo. My BH looks so much nicer...
I love all the cool storage areas in these trucks. Love putting a gallon of milk in the center counsel. I also will put my gallon water cooler there when driving to work. It's the perfect spot. Everywhere else it ends up falling over mid drive. The skinny spot u guys are talking about I put a...
I got 20,000 miles on my truck right now also. I'm not in a hurry to get tires. Have u seen how much tires have gone up in the last 6 months ? Descent tires are almost $300/each right now. Like everything else, inflation has hit the rubber industry. Trying not to buy anything right now until...
I'll replace them when they are around 4/32 or 5/32. Obviously I'm not going to risk my safety or the safety of others. Probably get 40 something thousand out of the stock tires I bet.
Me personally no. I buy a container of folgers for $8 & it lasts my wife & I about 3 weeks. I just see the line 15 cars deep at Starbucks everyday when I drive by it. I see all the people pissing away money on different things. I'm a minimalist & probably one of the most frugal people on the...
I actually use my truck for work in construction & it doubles as my personal truck. No dents or dings yet, but I know it's inevitable. Lots of scratches though. I think they are mostly from driving down ski trail roads deer hunting. As far as gas mileage goes, I just can't believe the amount of...
The guy goes from a Honda CRV to a Ram 1500 & then says he's suffering with only getting 20 mpg 🙄🥱🤭 no suffering would be sleeping in a cardboard box digging in a dumpster for lunch. Your driving a $50,000 truck. If u don't like the gas mileage sell it & get something else. As far as scratches...
