How about this 88 octane unleaded? It gets real confusing having so many different unleaded fuels. The way I understand it 87 unleaded is 10% ethanol, 88 unleaded is 15% ethanol, & 85 unleaded is 85% ethanol. The price difference between them is minimal. I wish they'd just stick with 87 & 91...
It all depends on how u drive. If u slam on the gas & then bob & weave & slam on the brakes at the next stoplight your gas milage will suffer. Personally I coast to the next light if it's red. Iij usually get 100,000 miles out of a single pair of brake pads !! I also get the 17/22 mpg that the...
I love the look of the Laramie LED's the best. I don't like the Limited ones. Too skinny imo. I hate the look of the halogen lights. It just comes down to personal opinion. Personally I'd buy whatever I could get the best deal on. Right now everyone is paying MSRP because of the conductor chip...
I love that color. I don't ever see any BTS Rams around town. I could've bought one last April, but I didn't feel right about it since I'm not a vet. I think if you've never served your country, u have no right to be driving around in one of those. I love that color though. It would be nice to...
The way I look at it they wouldn't push them as hard as they do if they didn't make huge profits off of them. For that reason I'm going to not get one & take my chances. I usually trade in my trucks every 5 or 6 years. I figure if I make it 3 yrs without any problems, I should be able to make...
People talking about keeping the truck 10 yrs & 200,000 miles worried about blowing their engines with 87 octane gas is comical. U will have thousands of dollars in electrical issues b4 u ever blow your engine. The 5.7 Hemi is one of the most reliable engines ever made. It's been around a long...
I have that same rattle. Sounds like it's coming from my rear passenger roof panel. Only hear it when certain bass tones come on or if someone pulls up next to me at a stoplight with subs & there basd is really thumping. So what did the dealership do about it ?
Some people have way too much free time on their hands. Why on earth anyone would want to rotate their own tires is beyond me. Discount Tire does it for free. I'm in & out of there in 30 minutes. Oil changes at the dealership. Semi synthetic is fine. I also use 87 octane gas which some people...
Run 87 all the time. Usually Top Tier. Never had a problem. Salesman even said he runs 87 in his. If u ever have a warranty issue u will be covered running 87 all the time. So why bother paying more for 89 or 91 ?
Owners manual says 89 recommended 87 acceptable. If the manual said 89 required than I would use it. As long as I don't void my warranty using 87, I'm good with it.
Towing a 7,000 lb trailer with the hemi etorque u will get 10-12 mpg tops. They get terrible gas mileage towing. Even when I hook up my 3,000 lb 10×12 enclosed trailer it gets terrible mileage. The only way to get the 17 - 22 mpg that's listed is to baby it & have no payload in it & not towing...
With every car manufacturer it's hit or miss. I've had bad experiences with Chevy & Buick so I am done with General Motors. I've had positive experiences with my 2 Ram trucks now & my wife loves her Kia. Only time will tell. Basically if I don't have problems b4 my warranty expires, I'll keep...
Chryslerfactoryplans.com vs. Chryslerwarrantydirect.com vs. www.mopar.com what's the difference between the Mopar extended warranty & the Chrysler extended warranty? Which one is better ? This is all very confusing.
Please expand on this more. I'm constantly hearing people on this forum say how great these Mopar extended warranties are. Seems like you've had a different experience. I would appreciate hearing more about it.
I constantly get bombarded with emails from Mopar saying last chance to get an extended warranty. If I wait until 1 month before my 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty expires to buy an extended warranty from Mopar, how much will it go up in price ?
