Not sure if it applies to the 12" screen, but I know the 8.4" screen's maps are very out of date. It says they are dated at some point in 2018, but they are missing roads, speed limit updates, even newer sub-divisions. I'd say they reflect 2015/2016 at best. Haven't been able to find an update...

Should be both, some folks don't have bed lights, but they should still have a switch for the cargo lamps.

Manual calls for 10k miles, 12 months, or 350 hours of idle time (an issue if you remote start a few times before going to get the mail at the end of the driveway). Should be fine with synthetic once a year w/ 7k miles.
