Dealer tried to force GPS theft deterrent add on

I've walked out on a couple of dealerships where the finance guys are *******s (that actually saved me from buying a Ford - story for another time). Not sure why you didn't, but since you did buy from this dealership, you should definitely push back and have them remove whatever hardware is tied...

FCA Rolls Out New Uconnect Market For 8.4-Inch Uconnect Systems:

I don't recall anyone asking to order Domino's in the truck.... I do seem to recall lots of people asking for the maps to be updated.... Would be fun if the Domino's delivery guy had to chase you down and deliver it like mid-air refueling.

2019 Laramie Won’t drive until seatbelt buckled

Your sales guy might have turned it off for you. Mine went through a couple of settings (with me in the truck) to set up my phone, etc. It all happened really fast and then I got to drive my new truck home, though, I so I don't remember pretty much any of what he told me. :D

    Door open while in gear?

Nope. You can drive it as far as you want away from the fob. Just don't turn it off. :D

    New Ram Survey

I received a similar survey back in March or April. Some weird questions, too, like did I slide around in the seat going around corners.

    Am I missing something

Ah, you're right, thanks. The feature guide I was looking at had only one listing for seats for the Limited (labeled standard), but it does have an extra line saying that the rear ventilation is part of the M1 optional package.

    Am I missing something

Only Limited and Laramie Longhorn have rear ventilated seats (optional on Longhorn, std on Limited).

    FCA Financing

He's probably lying. The dealership will get their kickback rolled back (that's usually at three months, not six) , but it won't impact you. That's if you're going through Chrysler Capital. Could be he's using a third party private finance company, in which case you might have different terms...

    FCA Financing

Yes, that is what I did. Your bank will walk you through the process if you have never done it before.

    Leaving Tailgate Down

I'm pretty sure my cargo lights turn off after about 15 minutes, but I've not timed them. Will be adding another bike rack today, so I'll try to get an actual time. PS-the switch to LEDs is really easy and looks a lot better.

    Cargo light stays on

How long after? Are you getting a tailgate open message on the dash? Some folks have found that they need to slam the tailgate a few times to get it to seat correctly.

    Welcome, congrats on the truck!

Huge recall on 1500s because airbags don’t work.

Not all for every truck, though. I think one applied to only ten trucks or something ridiculous like that.

(VIDEO ADDED) High pitch electronic"pew pew pew" sound right after startup

So.... They installed something you didn't want that they can control remotely? .... Not sure you're done yet.

Do you have something heavy in the passenger seat? Maybe it thinks there's a passenger there that isn't buckled. Otherwise, maybe one of the doors or tailgate is open (you should have lights on the dash for either of those, though).

    Doggie freaking out

I forgot to post my dog: She loves the truck - no problems at any speed (I don't have the advanced cruise).

    Doggie freaking out

Could be whistling from the active air dam, which you could try temporarily disconnecting (so it doesn't drop) - assuming you don't have the air suspension.

    Doggie freaking out

Is it while you're driving (low/high speed), or anytime the truck is running?
