I'm more interested to hear how they are in 20 - 30K miles. I'm adamant on getting tires I've heard of. Really only a few brands I would consider. Probably get Falken AT4 when I'm ready. Possibly Cooper, BFG, or MT Baja Boss.

Sounds like the multi-function switch needs to be replaced. That would be quite annoying. I had that happen on a previous car.

The Rubi also will only let you engage the lockers in 4lo, which is another reason many bypass the oem switch. They just need a simple 12 volt switch to engage.

You and most others will never 'need' a locker. I wanted it on mine, but really doubt I would ever use it. I'm not planning to do many black diamond trails in my DD.

Agree with this, it's one or the other. The rear locker is the more expensive option and better for off roading (if needed) and ice. Though as you may have noticed, it's not like a LS. LS is better for wet/gravel conditions. The locker is more extreme and shouldn't be used on dry pavement...

Also make sure the auto stop/start isn't causing the problem. I turn mine off every time I start the truck. Gears could also be a factor if you have the 3.92. I test drove one and it was very quick to accelerate. The one I bought has 3.21 and is more subtle.
