After what seemed like a long wait, I picked up my truck last weekend. Very happy with everything, except the tow mirrors. The fact that these big guys do not power fold is crazy.
Big fan of the RamBox and I'm happy I ordered this option. Yes, the bed is smaller, but that is not a problem...
And just like that the process has ended. I picked up my truck last saturday. Happy with the truck so far. Drives great, however I'm not a fan of the tow mirrors that you have to fold manually. I was not interested in the 360 camera, but I didn't realize the mirrors do not power fold. Not...
Spoke with my salesperson today and the truck arrived by rail to Fostoria, OH yesterday and is awaiting truck transport to the dealership in N.C. Salesperson said it takes about a week or less for them to receive the truck once it arrives into Fostoria. The end is near!
After seeing all this good news I contacted FCA again and received the following......
Thank you. I do see that the Ram is in the ship phase currently, but at this time I do not see a current ETA window for when the Laramie will be arriving at the dealer. We do ship our Ram's out in lots, so it...

Thank you for your patience as I have found your vehicle. At this time there is not an ETA on your vehicle. I have found a...
D1 still. I've been told the delay may be related to the RamBox, but who knows. I have until Feb 7th before my current lease runs out. I don't think I'm seeing my new Ram until late January.
I tried using the link below for vehicle tracking. I entered the VON and nothing happened after the site searched for 10 minutes. Too bad. However, I did use the fcacommunity link, got someone on chat and they looked up the VON for me. His response, "Currently all of your parts have arrived...
Hummm...called my dealer today and the sales guy said the build has not started. It's been almost a month since I ordered, shouldn't the truck be started by now?

Sadly I'm coming from a Toyota Tundra, so I cannot leverage the Chrysler Capital idea. However, I am going to check with Toyota and see if there is a way to extend a month or two. Agree - loads of trucks on the lot, but not with the config. I'm looking for. Good luck to you
Posted this as well on the build sheet thread. I'd like to share my price, but I cannot get one. The dealer is telling me Ram is no longer accepting build orders. They won't open them up until after the first of the year. WFT - spent a week or so waiting on the dealership and now I cannot...
I was just informed by my local dealer that Ram is not taking build orders for the remainder of the year. Something about trying to push out 2018 models. They will begin taking orders again in early Jan 2019. Anyone else hearing this?
I lived in NOVA for awhile and I recall Koons being one of the better dealers. My dealer down here is telling me the final sales price is different for a lease vs buy. Is anyone else hearing that from their dealer?
I cannot seem to get my local dealership in North Carolina to offer the types of deals you all are getting. Here is what I was quoted yesterday on a 1500 Longhorn, crew, 5.4 bed, 4x4. 36 mo 10k miles per year
MSRP - $62,025
Negotiated - $56,225 (original offer was $52k, but that was only if...
