Ha. To be fair I don’t remember what length i bought. I’ll tell you, they have a 2.25” which will not work. Had to exchange for a shorter one. Probably around an inch and a half.
Hi there. I purchased a Mopar bed step for my 2019 1500, but it was a take off, and didn’t come with the bolt the kit is supposed to come with.
I don’t need the nut as my truck is threaded but does anyone have any clue how to figure out what size the bolt is, so I can get another? I’m thinking...
I saw the instructions to use a die but having never used one, didn’t want to screw something up. I got a can of spray on paint remover from Lowe’s (sprays with a thin tube for the nozzle, like wd40. Let it sit 10 minutes then sprayed again and went to town with a wire wheel brush on the drill...
So you put gx302 in the dash and gx963 in the doors and that’s when you saw the volume decrease and ANC issues?
Just checking because i have these speakers ready to go in and now having second thoughts.
I had the worst time getting it set up because for some reason i had a Mopar.com login for my ‘12 wrangler. Getting everything switched over to the ram and getting to set up a pin required talking to 3 different departments and ultimately having my Mopar account set up to a new email address...
Looking at low cost options here which would you go with? Obviously asking some of the experts when it comes to potential fit, along with the ohm/impedance issues.
Kicker
Dash: 43CSC354
Doors: 43CSC6934
JBL
Dash: GX302
Doors: GX962 or 963
I found these two sets poking around Crutchfield...
With the JL C1-690tx being 4 ohm, did you notice lower volume? Crutchfield is telling me that will be an issue. And just to be clear, you used this speaker in all four doors and fit was ok (recognizing Yoadrian's comment about tucking the wire correctly).
First timer here. Came from a Jeep Wrangler JK 4 door. Wanted extra interior room, especially for 3 car seats that wouldn't fit in the JK. Did not think we'd actually go through with it but the incentives on the '19 were too much to pass up.
So far, I can't park for ****. Otherwise, loving...
YoAdrian, I appreciate all the help!
I'm ready to hit submit on a crutchfield order of kickers, 3.5" for the dash and 6.5's for the doors, but just do not want to deal with the ANC issues. Anyone else successfully upgrade without having to mess with the ANC?
I appreciate the detailed response. I have the base 6 speaker package. I guess ill start with the dash speakers and work up to doors. I’ve had nice systems in past cars with amps, woofers, etc, that I’ve run myself, but this truck feels like it has a little too much going on to go down that...
So, sorry if this is basic or a repost but just want to be sure. I have the 8.4 lcd in a big horn but the basic 6 speaker sounds system (i believe). Can i replace the corner dash speakers with 3.5 speakers and the four doors with 6x9? I believe i have ANC. Do i need anything other than the...
