When I was a kid we had a 3-car-deep tuck-under garage and my dad built a single-lane pistol range in it.
It probably wasn't legal, as it was well within city limits.
The only problem was that the terminal end of it was right below my bedroom.
When he and his friends would go fire off a few shots at night sleeping became a challenge.
