If your 1500 DT didn't come with bed lamps, the Retroshop kit is a great option for plug & play install with no OEM harness flashing required. Simply plugs between the trailer harness underneath the truck behind the right side rear bumper and then the 1 additional connecting wire to the right side bed lamp Install took me 30 minutes today with only the tools needed to remove the driver tail lamp housing in order to run the main bed lamp harness wiring down to the bottom of the truck.
