Is anyone able to download this map update and install it? After 10 downloads and attempted installs, each returning the message that my files have been modified and need to be downloaded and tried again, I'm frustrated!!

I use MAC, but I have installed the last three prior updates to my NAV5 system without issue. This time.... no dice! I have soft-rebooted the system several times.

Any advice?

Just installed the 2025.12 map update today on my 2025 Tungsten. No issues. Are you still having some?

Yeppo. I still get the error that the file has been modified, and I need to redownload it. I got tired of trying after 12 attempts or so.

Have you tried using a different flash drive? I've had issues in the past where a flash drive would actually overheat or have small failures, enough to disrupt the upgrade. On a computer, they'd frequently look OK, but they weren't.

I have tried two different flash drives, but since you have successfully installed it, I know it is possible. I will pick up another flash drive to see if I can get it working. Your success motivates me to pick this back up and make it work — so thanks.

Can you provide details on where to download the map and how to install?

The site provides basic instructions after selecting your year/make/model and starting your download. It is a large download, if you don't have fast internet, it may take you a bit.

General disclaimer: you do the following at your own risk. I am simply sharing what has worked for me and many others.

Do not extract the ZIP. You throw the ZIP file (it contains the maps) onto a USB flash drive that is a reliable unit (no throw-away cheapos, those can overheat or cause issues with the update). If you know what this means: it should be FAT32 formatted, but I believe Windows NTFS can also work. Otherwise, most USB drives are FAT32 out of the packaging, so you probably don't have to worry about that.

Start the truck, plug the drive into one of the USB ports in the truck. Your NAV will pop-up and ask you if you want to update. You say yes.

Make sure the truck is parked in a secure location (example: garage) and then walk away for 20-30 minutes, leaving it running. The maps are large, they take a while to update. Alternatively, you can sit in the truck (playing on your cell phone or whatever) for the 20-30 minutes, if you like. Just do not shut it off. Obvious disclaimer, if you do this in a contained space like a garage, leave the door partly or fully open, to make sure exhaust vents outside.

Some can get away with putting the truck into RUN (but not starting it) for the updating process, but the truck may timeout after a while to save the battery, and kill the upgrade. It is not recommended.

Something else I thought of while writing the above post...

If you have one available, try formatting the drive to FAT32 on a Windows-based computer, and downloading/copying the files from that same Windows-based computer. I've seen some weird formatting issues with USB and other external drives; Macs don't always format things exactly the same as Windows (and vice versa), even though they are supposedly using the same format types. This can cause weird issues with the files on them.
