Hey guys. I have a 2025 Ram. I don't use Apple CarPlay and usually just stream music from my phone using Spotify. Lately the album art that displays in the uConnect screen is always one song behind. The song name and title is correct, but the picture showing is from the previous song. This was never an issue before and only recently started happening. I was hoping it would correct itself with an update or something, but it's been a couple weeks already and it is still doing it. Anyone else having this issue or know what the cure is? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Do you shut off or reboot your phone occasionally? I would give it shot and retry connecting to your truck. I would try CarPlay as well but make sure your phone is updated. Good luck and let me know how you make out.

I didn't think about turning phone off and on again. I will try that. As far as CarPlay, I don't like using it so I haven't tried it. My guess is, in CarPlay it would probably work, I just would rather not be dependent on using CarPlay.

Powered down my phone and restarted it, but it didn't fix the issue. :(

Bluetooth or cable? If Bluetooth, remove the device from uconnect setup and do a forget device in the phone's Bluetooth configuration. Pair them fresh.

I did notice the behavior you described a few days ago, but it resolved itself. I had another weird issue with Android Auto where I had to disable and re-enable AA in the uConnect device manager. The pair redo didn't resolve that. It did eventually resolve itself.

Are there updates for your IOS? Maybe an app update on the phone?

The phone is up to date. It never use to do this, so I am guessing maybe a recent update is what caused this to start happening. I was kind of hoping it would resolve its self, but no luck so far.

How about rebooting your UConnect system? Perhaps this may help?

I guess I am the only one. :(
No it happens to me too when using bluetooth.
But when i use CarPlay the sound cuts out intermittently.

There is a new operating system update for my iphone i need to install. Perhaps that will fix it.
And i noticed Friday there is another update for uconnect.

A hard reboot can be done by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery after 15-minutes. Pls note that you will lose many of your main settings like radio station and vehicle settings.

I would try a soft reboot by pressing your UConnect power and station buttons simultaneously until the system reboots. This is the preferred method since you should not lose any settings. Good luck

My music cuts out too. It’s like a half second and it happen every 5 minutes or so. I also did the iOS update 26.0.1 and it still does it

Had this happen during two drives and resolved itself spontaneously. I would try the soft reset as suggested by Dr Juice. It is quick and won't harm anything.

I now have my phone connected via CarPlay. I prefer not to use CarPlay, but it seems to have resolved the issue for me. Yesterday my truck did an update after I parked it. Not sure if that would have helped or resolved the issue for me.

Same thing is happening to me. I’ve tried rebooting the uconnect and a hard reset. I had to start using Apple CarPlay and not a fan since mine isn’t wireless. And it’s not really a big deal but just something about it not showing the right album cover that gets you.

I'm having the same issue with my 2025 Ram UConnect System when playing MP3s off my USB Flashdrive. I have done the Soft Reset and the UConnect has been Updated. I even used MP3Tag to delete TAG info and created a new TAG with New Artwork. This Issue affects about 50% of the songs. When I use the same Flashdrive on my PC the Artwork is correct and the MP3s are a direct copy of the files on my Android Phone which also displays the Artwork correct. Very frustrating as I have spent hours trying to fix this.

Yeah, very frustrating. I couldn't figure it out. I now use Apple CarPlay all the time just because I was having that issue.

Hey guys, I have a 2024 1500 Bighorn and I have the same problem. One thing I noticed is that if I am listening to music I downloaded to my iPhone directly the album cover matches the song but once I change back to Spotify the issue continues. My iPhone it's updated and I have tried different ones and nothing changes. I disconnected the battery, delete and pair again the only thing I haven't done it's a factory reset of the system because I did the passive entry upgrade and I believe it changed a couple of thing in the Uconnect system so I prefer the leave that alone.
