I have a question for anyone that has this issue. When I take off or come to a stop there is an intermittent pop coming from what seems like the driver's side front suspension. This doesn't happen all the time and doesn't seem to happen when I drive, only when I take off or come to a stop. Has anyone had this same issue or any suggestions before I tear into it tomorrow? Thanks in advance.

You might want to check your body mounts. It sounds like something that a cab mount would do.

Check your suspension first. Could be a ball joint or end link that is worn out. Then check your engine mounts next and then move on the drivetrain and body last.

Not saying it couldn’t be any of those, but that would be how I would trace the issue.

Have a buddy jounce the suspension while you list under and around the truck. Or mount a go pro under the truck to help pinpoint the issue area.

Good luck!

My truck is at the dealer with this exact problem and as of yet, undiagnosed. I hear the noise most often when in reverse and make a sharp turn, such as when backing out of a parking spot. And then again when coming to a stop when pulling forward. No noise when driving otherwise. It seems as if something is shifting when making these direction changes.
I remain open to ideas as the dealership is not trying hard to determine a cause.

Sway bar bushing. End links. Body mounts. Intermediate shaft. Control arm bushings. Shocks.

Also make sure the tire iron under the passenger seat is tight. 😂
