Who parks in the Garage?

The hard part isn’t squeezing between columns. It’s angling in to get there. The space is slightly offset from the door opening, so I have to swing my front end between the right-side columns and the straighten up at the end. My rear fender comes about 2” from scraping the door opening. You can kinda see it in the pics below.
With that said, I have a secret weapon. A couple of strategically placed convex mirrors mounted up high, so I can see my fenders as I maneuver in the tight spots. See the last picture of one of them.

Main house garage: 30 x 20 FT (not wide enough for 2 cars to park without gymnastics to get in/out)
Cabin: 36 X 24 FT (absolute perfection) Pic below.

When we built our house back in 2019, I told the architect that my truck at that time, which was a 2006 Ram 2500 5.9L CTD Mega Cab “will” fit in the garage. So, they made that section of the garage large enough for that behemoth. Unfortunately, the truck was totaled shortly after we moved in. Needless to say, my current truck fits fine with about 4 feet to spare. The spot in the house garage is kind of its own area, and is the boring parking spot. The “fun” spot is in the shop when adding mods, performing oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

I love how builders build the garage for two cars nowadays. They consider the two cars to be compacts I suppose.
My builder actually made the garage height specific for a truck but not wide enough. My wifes car gets the garage with the riding mower and other crap while I park outside. I hate it!

Does it fit better if you back in? Backing in is the only way I park. I find it easier myself.
I can't back in - my Rambar would take out the ductwork. Which doesn't bother me, because I wouldn't want to flood the garage with exhaust fumes.

It JUUST makes it! I've got an inch in the back and about 3 or 4" up front.

I wish I had that much space front and rear.

My ‘22 Rebel with lots of lube and massage fits in the garage with less than 2” at either end. Screw it up, and the hinges get hung up on the tailgate pad when you go to open it.
